Master Mike was long gone when the new forum came around tongue

I make perfect sense. The deletion is irrelevant, he would have been blocked for the rest of the round anyway.

What you try to say is that because he wasn't banned a long time ago he shouldn't be banned now? That's the poorest excuse ever. That's what we call the final straw. You can claim there is more to it, but there just isn't. If you can't accept that it isn't the case it is no one's problem but your own.

It is not rocket science or anything. Deletion was the only logical step TCO. Obviously this was no ordinary block. What was hc4e going to say in his defense: "No it wasn't me who has been behaving bad for years!! I blame Nolio". Let's be fair; this was not a block that was up for discussion. You can call that power tripping if you wish, but that's just being realistic. Block was decided on and his accounts were deleted because a blocked account only takes up space.

I am not a mod, it is not to me to explain the block/ban.

I am responding to the claims that this was an abuse of mod power and that's what the unanimous point is about. No one said that explains everything. I just wanted to make a point that the whole mod team made this decision.

I have tried to put some perspective on this case, but if you want to see mod abuse everywhere while there isn't any, then there is no use in trying to converse.

Imho, I think slandering the mods who do their best for the community without getting any payment. That is what demoralizes people in this game. If anything the mods showed strength in blocking someone who they judged as a threat to the community with his repetitive bad behavior.

ps. I have nothing against Josh personally.

@Killas - It was an unanimous block. The fact that the two mods involved also agreed is in my opinion irrelevant then.

@MJ, CJIBclient

First of all I just want to say: I didn't mean that everyone in this thread was 'crying' or 'involved'. I agree that more transparency on blocks is something that could be discussed with the community. But there are also reasons that blocks are not discussed openly as well. So yes its debatable but it has two sides, I hope people understand.

One of the reasons is just how messy such thread can get. A lot of people wants to say things and people start yelling things based on mere speculations. Just look at the story about
mods supposedly not knowing what other mods did. Somehow this story came alive, but it is not even true. (once more: unanimous decision) Understand the point of view where its hard to discuss with people if some arguments are apparently made up or misunderstood.

I don't see how it matters how many mods are in one family. Mods do not handle the blocks that involve their family anyway. Also blocks are always discussed and not just randomly placed.

Mod-abuse would be disastrous, but people yelling such things because they are emotionally involved doesn't make it true either.

If policy has always been to not discuss blocks on the forum why should it be an issue right now? It is a fair point to debate about the transparency of blocks in general, but not to discuss a specific block because some people cry about this being about mods abusing their power.

Also the fact that it was unanimous was just a retort to the claims that this was an impulsive act of power abuse from the mods, which it wasn't.

I am not sure what you want Killas. There is no mod conspiracy or whatever. In this case, just as any other block or decision, they only tried to do what they saw was best for the community and this game.

Bara, for someone who claims to be educated you draw some rather simplistic conclusions. Since everyone in here is just giving opinions about the TV show, I am pretty sure you can say that they do have an idea of what they are talking about, since they are talking about their own experiences.

Stop trying to look smart because this is just ridiculous. You don't own these books and the contents don't change depending on how many people have read it. I have read them twice over as well and I have loved this saga for years too. You sound like a spoiled child who is crying because everyone in his class has the same toy as he does and now he is not special any more sad sad

That the mods are some kind of friends is almost logical, because 75% of the community are friends in this game. Even so it doesn't mean anything. In the time that I got fmodded I hardly knew anyone on the mod-team and honestly I still don't really know half of them now. I was just active for a longer period of time and no trouble maker and that was it.

Certain violations are impossible to encapsulate in one single rule and that requires a decision from the mods and that's how it works. It's easy to yell at the mods, but keep it realistic.

As for this specific scenario; In case anyone wants to know instead of speculating: It was an unanimous decision.

Ned sent out dondarrion to catch the mountain, but I am not sure if they explained anywhere what happened to him yet and that he and his men are the brotherhood. Also in the books I think that the whole deal with the brotherhood was kept vague for a while.

Never liked Theon in the books anyway, so it kinda works for me. Overall though, I must admit the differences with the books bother me more than I thought they would. Hopefully I can get used to some of the characters I had pictured differently in my head. But damn things are laid on thick in the series, no subtlety here tongue

The episode was nice though.
