there was alot of make-up, and i think they actually hired another actor to do some work after the Kieth ledger died, so i think its possible he will be in any sequel. i think that he wont be the main villain in any of the sequels though.

there was philosophy in the first one too, about good and evil about justice, vigilantes, ect.
you're right, they arent perfectly random, but how many things are? very few if anything is.
and my granny, an old, nice, white woman, gets randomly searched every time she guys on an airplane, i bet they're racist against her too.
to even claim that you or your friend knows all the information the people had at the border that had them search your friend's cousin just speaks poorly on your intelligence.
dont act like only a select few get discriminated on; its a common occurance that nearly everyone has experienced, you or your friends; or you or your friend's races arent special in that regard.
and you know that skoe isnt saying what you're asking him if you're saying, if you dont have the intelligence to come out flat out and deal with his argument head on then shut up.
just saw the dark knight. alittle disappointed with the joker, honestly, im not trying to be an asshole over the guy's death in real life, its probably just because i've heard it was supposed to be really good before seeing it so i was expecting an awesome performance and didnt get it.
there was action, drama, and comedy; a very solid plot, and good enough acting where you werent thinking about the acting, but. i was alittle annoyed by the numerous fake endings.
at the beginning the philosophy seemed to be very poorly done, but they redeemed themselves later on. and no, this is not something to get your hopes up over; its if you see the flaw in the philosophy they shove down your throat, you may not have to vomit after the movie if you dont leave before the end of the movie presumably to vomit.

come on man, first off, the guy doesnt shoot him and its the first time the guy has ever "missed" his mark.
2nd, for some mysterious reason they need the noob to get close to him
and then the kid knows nothing about his father
and then the guy shoots him in the arm telling him where to meet him when he obviously could of killed him instead
and then the guy is killing members of the fraternity left and right which the kid is a member of
and during the entire fight where the kid is trying to kill him, he was shooting all defensively and then saves his life.
and then the fraternity feels the need to kill the kid after he kills the guy.
even if you didnt know exactly what the twist was, you should of known something like the twist was coming.
i lost all respect for the sport when cancer boy whooped everyone more times in a row then anyone has ever whooped everyone's ass.
they said theres class discrimination, and the clothing you wear usually gives the impression you're of a specific class. and no one said it was right, they just said that it happens.
as for the airport incident, ofcoarse every time a random search is done to a minority its racism ![]()
it does say they remove critical articles too.
another thing. police officers that patrol teh streets are working class, so the idea that police officers discriminate against the working class, is pretty far-fetched. if they discriminate against anyone its the upper class and upper middle class. the times you were pulled over in a nice car was probably because they thought you were rich and were harassing you because you make more money then them and not because you're black. when i was in nice clothes, driving a nice, practically new car, i got a ticket for going 3mph about the speed limit; when i was driving in dirty, beat-up clothes, in an old car and got pulled over going 30mph above the speed limit, and told the officer i was heading back from work at 7 am, i was given a warning.
"Jewish people are discriminated against as heavily as blacks are.
Homosexuals are probably the most discriminated against worldwide.
Women (as shown by the democratic election this year) still have a ton of bias towards them.
Muslims are catching incredible heat and have been since 9/11 occurred.
Military veterans, Pregnant women, Christians, Teenagers, Computer "Geeks".....
I don't really care for discrimination discussions too much because people seem to discuss black/white a lot but there are other discrimination targets who have it just as bad or even worse:p
Honestly I'd hate to be a gay muslim in America right now =o"
you forgot about white people. hell, even the government and universities openly discriminates against white people. poor white people have it the worst. and then minority shop/store/restaurant owners are never going to hire a white boy over someone of their race and people look the other way when the entire store has 100% asian employees or black employees, but if an organization has 100% white employees, they're getting reported and fined.
Barak Obama is even campaigning on increasing the discrimination against whites done by the government, and he is more popular because of it.
obviously racism does exist, the question of how often someone is discriminated against because of race is alot less clear. about the 2 situations you gave with the assault. it could be as simple as the white men having better lawyers or the parents of the white kid could of pushed the police to press more charges.
and nolio, were there really separate fraternities for blacks and whites at your college? thats [shoe polish] up.

omg, you're a moron, you didnt see the twist coming?
DPS, when you think about it, the American political spectrum didnt shift right, the european spectrum and the american spectrun shifted left; the americans just didnt shift as far as europeans.
"There is a very clear difference between a biological parasite and a social parasite. Please do not confuse the two, and then use that as a point to argue."
why does whether a parasite is a biological or a social parasite change its value?
"
Please, separate yourself from your biases and open your mind. The typical nuclear family, or even the concept of having a Mother/Father is not intrinsic. There have been many cultures which had a far more 'communist' style of youth development."
and in those cases the child is a parasite of the state instead
"
They are not biological parasites. If the fetus could survive outside the mother, then I would fully support illegalizing pregnancy termination. Unfortunately they cannot, and as such it is fully within the right of the mother. Personally, I look down upon abortion, just the same as I look down upon the exploitation of those in 3rd world countries. Somewhat cold-heartedly (that is, rationally), it can be favourable to terminate the fetus."
with the proper equipment, a fetus would always survive when separated from her mother and with current equipment many times an aborted fetus would of stood a chance of survival if separated from the mother; how good a chance does it take for you to support illegalizing pregnancy termination.
"Yes, that is true in many respects. In a normal human fetus, the genetic material is the same (ofc. with variations of genes on alleles) as that of an adult human. Any diploid cell of the body has the potential to be just as human as the rest of us. One such example would be adult undifferentiated cells (AKA stem cells). It is possible to extract the genetic material out of a skin cell and grow an entire human from that (although it may take 250 failed fetuses to create the person, and in any case they will not live as long as a normal person due to telomere shortening). However, they will still be human."
with the proper procedure, anything is possible; however a fetus isnt a skin cell or an adult stem cell, a fetus is a human being, not just potential to become one.
btw, its nice finding someone here he actually responds with some solid logic. i appreciate your reply even though i disagree and you think this is not the place to have this discussion, i think this thread is the perfect place to have it.
"I fully understand the anti-abortion sentiment; however the unborn child is effectively a parasite. "
isnt that the case with all children until they move out? should parents be free to kill them whenever? and then when people become parasites on society, such as the homeless, we should be able to kill them too right? science says that the fetus is just as human as the rest as us. any claim that the fetus becomes human later on in the development process has no grounding in science.

I dont.
if the person is a presidential candidate or a supreme court justice its a national issue.
"oh come on, you didn't laugh when the LA Kings logo pulled out a pistol and shot the Maple Leaf logo, and it fell in a pool of blood, and three little Maple Leaf logos ran out and began bawling?"
well, it didnt make any sense because LA is abunch of pansies.
"
Yea.....Abortion is or never was to be a National Issue."
you dont think it was a national issue during the time of Roe v Wade?
"
Abortion is not a National issue. Its local and personal."
you dont think the murder of many thousands of humans inside the US could be interpreted as a national issue?
where i live its legal to wear a mask in public. its just against the Law to wear a mask while breaking the law.
intelligent people dont need super sophisticated jokes to find them funny. what an idiot.
i have observed that movies that feel the need to describe themselves as based on a true story, in order to sell tickets are often very bad.
people disagree with each other on just about everything in our lives, unless you're willing to argue that everything in life is subjective, you dont really have a point.
hancock was typical Will Smith movie; not bad, not worth buying the DvD when it comes out.
WALL-E was the worst movie i saw this summer, slow plot, horrrible acting, a predictable story line, and very cheesy.
and then Wanted; i hugely disagree with spidermanbearpig on. there was about as much charecter development as possible without having the entire movie being solely about the charecter. they didnt try to play out a Romance between Angelina Jolie's charecter and the main charecter; and they didnt because to do so would of been extremely cheesy. the end did show a resolution, i think that spidermanbearpig just failed to realise what the conflict that needed to be resolved was. it was about as deep a story line you could ever possibly expect from an action movie. 4 out of 5
conservatives are against gay marriage, the right for women to choose to abort their child, stem cell research, ect. they are also more into cencorship and government programs such as the patriot act which limits personal freedoms.
