I was for a while, on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and in so many blogs as to make my head spin. I was preparing for my running for office, which wont happen this year (see Community forum for details).

One thing I did notice is the anger, the frustration, and... most of all... the promises.

But wait you ask, what am I talking about?

I am talking about civil strife at the least, and civil war at the most.

Oh do not start with the pentagon shooter or the kamikaze who rammed the IRS. Those guys, if you look at their profiles/bio's.... we liberals both.

No I am talking the true right.

Now this ranged from simple comments (meh, everyone gets frustrated) to promises if Abortion is federally funded to go on a killing spree of Democrats and Liberals, to calls to secure the entries of Federal Buildings and 'peacefully deny entry' to all and efforts to organize militias and the likes.

I myself tried hard to keep people from doing dramatic things. Despite what people may think on this forum, I fully understand a civil war is the least wanted/desired of outcomes. For a civil war now will not be like the Revolutionary War America had, nor would it be like the Civil War we had, it would not be like China's civil war.... no this war would be like Somalia. There are no borders, there is no end to the hatred that would be generated, there would be no backing down til one side or the other was utterly dead. I do not want 100 million or more dead, and my great nation shattered. So I was, when I was active on the social sites, fighting hard to slow down the most hotheaded of people, with some success.

But now then this is not the whole story. No, not all sadly. I also started quietly counting 'events' on a set of levels. A wish for Obama to be assassinated, or some other wish we had violence was ranked lowest, and up to civil war or direct promises to kill if abortion was passed was ranked highest. There were four ranks. I would not keep track of who was saying what, no thats to much work, to much details, and might prove to be a nightmare for me later. Some were also in person contacts at truck stops, shippers and receivers... Sadly of course all their comments are on social websites for those online... so it's not the most 'hidden or secure' after all. But as I went along until Mid January, it was clear a nonstop growth of such incidents is happening. This leads to one conclusion, the United States is a stack of gunpowder.... one spark and there it goes.

I have family working in a plant that makes ammunition. They are working overtime, they are working at full capacity, and they are months behind orders. They cannot meet demand at all, and are forced to simply work at full production until further notice. Good job security however, lol.

The problem I have is the quiet right now. The Democrats are clearly preparing a push to pass the bill. But those people I am scared about, they are quiet, to quiet. I had people ask me advice on how to set up... well they never defined it, but I was lead to believe a cell based militia... I always tried hard to deter them, but the last was a lady on twitter with more followers than I wish to say, and activity through the roof on there, and a deep desire to do harm to this government.

So my fellow Americans, to save our nation we must bring sanity to the Democrats. I myself am pledging money to campaigns specifically against Liberals and any Democrat in Federal Office who voted for the Stimulus, the Health Care, or the take over of GM/Chrysler. I do not know who specifically I will target yet, but I may even put up ads and rent billboards on my own. This monstrosity of government has no clue they are pushing some of our population to breaking (I see it most in Libertarians at the moment, but a lot of issues in Conservative circles as well) and I would rather we just start this thing over and avoid the whole mess.

I have in fact donated cash to the campaign of one candidate already, and plan to have a good stock come summer for more funding. Please consider donating time, money, or materials to fighting to keep our nation from self destruction, of course choose your own fights, but consider my words.
