Three days ago I was summoned to Alena's headquarters for a meeting.  As I walked in I notice a long look on his face.  "Alena, what is troubling you?" I asked.  His response was "The day has come.  We must defeat the mighty oppressor Timmy."

I paused for a great while in silence until I finally gathered up the courage to ask, "Why?  What has Timmy done?  We signed a pact of non-aggression with him years ago so that this wouldn't happen!"  Alena sighed and put his head down in his hands.  I could tell something was bothering him..

At that moment Tryme entered the room. He looked jumpy and ready to attack anything that came near him.  Alena then spoke.  "Tryme I have invited Snuff here because he deserves an explanation.  He has been one of our most trusted business men in our family, and I cannot start this war without at least giving him a full explanation.  I cannot find the words. Would you please tell him what we have discovered?"

Tryme grinned.  "Of course" he said. "I'll explain it to him."

"Snuff, you remember how war like we were so many years ago.  We still have plans to dominate this galaxy.  When we warred Timmy those years ago, we destroyed everything he ever loved.  Although he fought bravely, he lost many of his friends in the war, as well as many of his beloved family.  He was devastated.  His desire for justice and righteousness was soon replaced with the desire for revenge at all costs.  With respect to Timmy we signed that pact for peace.  However, since that time we have discovered some very disturbing news.  Timmy has signed another pact.  A pact with some very powerful demons, and he has been reborn as a very powerful deathknight!  We now know that his desire for retribution has no ends."

I almost cried when I heard the news.  I couldn't believe what I was hearing.  Timmy, the great hero had fallen, not in war, not to the death of his enemies, but to the promise of greatness given to him by those dark powers.

Two days later, we hold our final meeting before the great war begins.  I traveled to our meeting spot with Kelivut, a man who has helped protect our family for many years.  We discuss the current situation with much sorrow.  "How?" asks Kelivut.  "How can a man we had so much respect for do such a thing?"  I had no answer for him.

When we arrive, we are greeted by our other fam members.  Awexome, another respected business friend of mine meets me at the door.  He asks, "Snuff, are you prepared for this?"  My honest answer to him is, "No.  I am not well trained in the art of war, I am a business man.  My only role here is to finance the war."  Awexome responded, "You have done very well financing the troops as have I.  However, when Timmy attacks, much more will be expected of you.  You must help defend your lands.  Our generals can only do so much.  You and I will meet with Alena before the war and he will teach us much of the art of war."

Suddenly the doors to the great hall opened up, and Parrot walked in.  I asked "What the hell is he doing here!?"  Ouroborus grabbed me by the arm and said, "Snuff!  He is here to help.  Timmy is not fighting this war by himself.  He has many demons for allies.  If it were just him we could handle it on our own, but since he has allies, so must we!"

We spent the rest of the day preparing for the onslaught.  Our troops have been well trained.  Our defenses have been tempered and strengthened.  Are we ready for this? is the question I've been asking myself repeatedly.  I cannot yet give an honest answer.  Only time will tell.

I now stand on the battlefield, waiting for the sounds of the enemy approaching.  I am worried.  My good friend Nexus has not been seen in days.  Does he even know that war approaches?  Just as I'm wondering this, there is a flash of bright blinding light nearby, and I have to shield my eyes.  When I uncover them I see Nexus standing in front of me.  "Snuff my good friend, how goes the preparations for war?" he asks.  I tell him I am ready.  Not sure if I'm actually giving him a final answer.  Suddenly, a roar of engines approaches.  It's Timmy, followed by his great army of darkness. 

Nexus raises his staff and slames in into the ground, which makes a sound like nearby thunder, and yells, "You shall not pass!!!!"  I sound the trumpets of war, and the battle is on.  Who will win? 

We shall see.
