Our hero limped through the gates of his home. He was still bleeding from the beating he had taken from the tyrant and his minions. They had finally used their superior funding to beat down our hero. He was cut above both eyes, and the swelling made it difficult to see. His left calf had been slashed, and his right knee cracked. Most of his ribs were bruised from the repeated kicks by the madman VR.

He limped home to find that his beautiful people and wonderous architecture had been replaced by the foul stench of the armies of the tyrant! Adrenaline coursed through his veins. "GET OFF MY LAND!"

Indeed there was a point about 3 days into this war where me and Timmy thought we might win.  If it wasn't for Angarak getting ran by VR when he jumped and Khorinis being relatively inactive then maybe we could have given you a better fight despite the far superior economy of 53/65.

hehe, you certainly have, but it was mostly a good move by VR rather than a mistake by you.  I didn't see that coming so it's more my mistake as your leader than it is your mistake anyway.  tongue

The tyrant used all of his power. He mustered up his most horrifying weapons, his most terrifying demons. He slashed, he yelled, he beat down our hero as much as he could. Now, in spite of the tyrant's best efforts, our hero remains. He stands tall. Calmly.

The tyrant falls to his knees and quietly approaches our hero. "I am kind. I will grant you peace."

Our battered and bloody hero replies "Your words have no effect on me. I have no need for peace. I have no use for the end of this war. You could have had peace a short while ago. Now, peace is out of the question."

He didn't stand there for long. As long as the tyrant remains, there is killing to be done.
