"What does everyone think of the Western world uniting?"
I'm absolutely positive towards this, if you mean US,Canada and Europe that is. But I'm afraid it will not happen soon. For many here the US is the big evil empire. There are few like me who want to unite. Maybe if Europe unites chances increase. Biggest part in favor is the fact they are still each others most important economic partners I think.
