EEEK....19.99 trade fee.
simulated, right??!
yea...but damn. Make it real at least.
Who the hell pays 19.99 per trade self posted trades.
Bullshit.
apparently a whole generation of e-traders...hmmm...what's it take to get a broker's license?
lol
it's simulated ..out of date too i guess ![]()
but what do you think other than that BW?
I think w/a 19.99 rate per trade, you should stick to 2-3 stocks, and try to hold them.
10 trades is 2% of your bank roll. Thats a tough hit.
o.O it's too late for that now lol ![]()
what do you think of the stocks i have pending and bought already?
?
the problem with investopedia .....
the time of the markets is horrible for me
they should make a seperate section on the asx just to make u all dribble and see the opportunities that you are missing out on :d
i just made one of the accounts with the "fake money", should be interesting to see how i do.

im waiting on afew to boost it
should be all good.
Here is a hot tip for IC people. MIT people made carbon nanofibers work in a battery. It works on the anode side only I think. Regardless the utility of it is batteries can have both a longer life, and change shapes to conform more to space available rather than requiring dedicated space. The increase in the capacity will be tremendous. Think of 2 weeks with a laptop and no charge. Or a cell phone that lasts a month, with texting the whole time. Think of electric cars which can be made to go 200 miles at 60 miles per an hour due to a better amount of stored energy for the same space....
So this is what I devised. Watch the major companies which make batteries of any sort. One will get this contract. They will need to take some hefty loans, and drop all their cash on hand into this project. So they will drop in value due to the effect. But their CEO and others will be buying stock on their options the moment it drops and keep doing so. This is when you should buy. They release their product probably 3 years later, and you will see the value of your stock quadruple with the huge sales they will get off of this.
"Warner...why invest in music stock? Are they going to figure out how to stop filesharing online?"
Hehehe,
Bought 2250 @ $5.79. They are now worth $6.38 each, which is a total raise of 10.19% or $1,327.50.
Everything else went down, except for Disney (DIS).
When the market opened, they all went up, but i had to go to bed...
Edit:
This may have something to do with it.

"Oh you meant GET your money OUT of Bear! I tought you meant get your MONEY out of Bear!". Haha Pay no attention...to that...man behind the curtain...
Blackwing irl do you still owe taxes on unrealized capital gains at the high water mark?
only when realized. Doesnt matter how high or how low, on paper, only when you sell you shares it in.
Mutual funds on the other hand, give distributions at the end of the year. These are the captital gains realized.
Mutual funds will break them down ST/LT to equal amounts per share held.
Not sure, Yell, but is that what you were looking for ?
Yeah I remembered in 2000 they taxed based on the unrealized highwater mark and since that was the year of the dot.com crash a lot of people howled over it. Didn't know if it had changed.
eek....BAC is not recieving much interest in there equi prime business.
Meanwhile C is in a strong bid to move 12BN of their projected 50+BN of subprime dept at .9 on the dollar, BEFORE the quarterly report.
I like C even better than BAC now than I did befor.
C will lead the banks out of this shit hole they are in.
SCHULTZ!
This is KAOS!!
We do not say "eek"!
