i remember when there was no drafting. when reshuffles rarely occurred because it took a good 3 rounds to put a solid family of randoms together and get them to learn how to play with each other

Man, it's been a while. 4 years since I even played a round (only two rounds played on this account). Finished 23/61 (S/N) in MW. Good times. Wish the score charts were still like they used to be so I could take a look at my old fam.

Anyone remember a Kender causing trouble in IRC from time to time?

Edit: Found the link to the old score chart. The round that ended 2006-04-02 was round 12, right? Trying to figure out which race I used then (empire was Combustable Apples)

I remeber the TNR thread in politics, going over a thousand post dozens of times.

I remember DemoSquad ruling MW with a SS race.

I remember meeting up with alot of IC players and going altogether to Trance Energy.

I remember alot of good times.......

Great thread.  I started in 2003 under a bunch of different names and fams, but did take 100 planets off of PP one round.  Had a great time in a couple of fams with WinMe.  Stayed up until 4am trying to talk PP out of killing off his entire family and deleting after sonme very underhanded betrayals.  The game was a lot of fun back then, looks like things have changed.

I remember the times of the tri alliances, they were fun, first time i led a family our tri took top 3 spots! Thx to lethal, and dangerous's co-ordination, and my families rank was due to the team of llama and echos,  i belive it was echos last round, what a fun round, and there was honour back then!
