PP, I do tend to agree with you that there is a bit too much chest beating in this thread from my fam.  I'd like to raise the issue of us taking too many planets off other fams though.  While i've steered clear of most negotiations and that kind of thing we have been very forthcoming with giving out NAPs this round rather than killing other fams.  WS is far too nice to other fams with this, its all bravado in the forums.

- Early on we NAPed a small fam, who would have been easy to get some quick planets from (I forget the number).
- 55 we PNAP'd basically cause you said you didn't want a war.  There were a few ops from you at the time, but all could have been easily recovered from.
- 42 we PNAP'd cause we didn't want a war.
- 28/45 we NAP'd cause they were rubbish and going to die heavily.
- 62 we have been offering peace to, we'd have stopped attacking if they'd have stopped opping.
- The list does go on...

The stupid thing about this round is that we're going to basically easily win it, and i'll hasten to add i'm not saying that in a bragging way.  But whilst winning, at present we have maybe 5 active players.  Throughout the round we've never had more than 2 active bankers, and i'm including myself in that even though I barely login compared to the way I used to.  Surely some of the other fams must have been able to match that.

I think a lot of our success has been down to positioning, but also the number of idiotic decisions made by other families.  So many times i've seen people running into laser traps and hitting far too many fighters losing their ground.  Fighting 28 and we were still doing infra jumps while they weren't able to match fleet, I really don't understand how its possible for their incomes to be so rubbish.

pyf gets it. In the forums I try and provoke things for entertainment only BUT in the real game i get hammered by my fam for being too easy and too nice to the other fams and if they wanted to they could all come in here and say so.

If i wanted to simply rape and pillage fams we wud no doubt be at 6k planets and working to 7k but i dont play like that.

so quit being purposely ignorant when dealing with me in the forums. I am NOT beating my chest, Im causing all you guys to beat your chest and have a heart attack and all the while I lmfao at you.

But in the real game im a push over except for my attacking skill which isnt bragging its fact. But i dont use it to just rape small or large fams, cause imo my fam could have beat 42 with or without orbit just like gondor said and i could have hell who knows 8k planets then BUT i told fam whats the use in fighting when they are crippled w/o as many skilled attackers with orbit leaving, thus no real challenge nor fun.

so say w/e u want but until u play with me you have NO IDEA what i am like.

does seem like 50 wants to make many enemies, provoking them to team op and give them a real challenge?
I think anyone 'd want to get his fam as high up as possible, and attacking is quiet fun, and if you can get the planets, why not take them whatever harm has to be done?
