actually, I don't think I've seen this in above posts yet, but what I learned in 6th grade was that first you should
brainstorm, gather many elements together, then you got to make a kind of plan, a basic thing on what is going to happen and what is is you're going to write about
then I think you may start writing, using all techniques you want (not all you know unless you want to)
let yourself flow and 'create'
you might want to do some research on things aswell to get inspired, if it's a wrestling story then look how wrestling matches go and the special sport terms in it (and explain the ones you didn't know in your story to the reader in whatever way you want, if it fits you can just be the aside storyteller helping the reader, otherwise you can get a little bou to ask or an old man to tell him, or you can just explain it (example imagine 'punch' is a new term in the following: and then "Jack 0'Liftey" punched Mad Wagger in the face, his had zoomed from underneath his waist with a swing and hit mad Wagger right on his nose, which made him step back a little with surprise, a few more seconds wagling and Mad wagger fell to the ground from Jack O's one hit-ko punch")
another way to write a story, there is this quote I came across yesterday
'Amateurs imitate, professionals steal' (something along this line)
