Still no real crashes..
Windows 7 did slow down the other day though :-/. Something about watching TV, encoding a movie, and playing counter strike at the same time...

Oh and i keep finding those really cool features that are sort of "wow, i didn't know it did that" type things.
Like when you mute the computer the TV automatically turns teletext on

When it works it might repair it. None of the recovery options for Vista worked when it crashed on my laptop.
I installed Windows 7 64bit and upped my ram from 4gigs to 6gigs last night. Now it wont "refresh" the windows score. It sees the ram and reports it correctly but comes up with an error whenever i try to update the score.
Although im not sure it's just Windows 7. When i boot to XP 64bit it shows all the ram but when i try to play halo it says there isn't enough ram available. I just clicked continue anyway and it worked fine.
What i like about vista and almost makes up for it's lesser sides is the super fast search!
Get a ram checking tool, Gondor.
I'll try the one that comes with windows 7 and see about getting memtest86 (think thats what it was called) I added 2x2048 sticks of ram so one or both of those could be bad. I had 4 sticks of 1024 before that worked fine and without error
