However, did you really have to end your great list by naming the worst Death Metal band ever?
Cannibal Corpse are the leftovers in the trash can of Death Metal 
Edit: How did I never check out Primordial before today? They're bliss.
There's 1 rule in those more extreme metal genres: If I know them, they're crap 
I know Cannibal Corpse (by name and perhaps I heard 1 or 2 songs of them), wich makes them crap

....yes i agree with you all....but what i said was that i could not help but go back to listen to some of the music from the past such as cannibal corpse....on many occassions i have been at "partys" which had no more life than at a wake....a lot of "dadum dadum dadah" music (if you know what i mean)....and when someone wanted to liven it up they put some cannibal corpse on....i will admit "stripped, raped & strangled" is among some of the older tunes that i enjoy (once in a while)....it was an attempt to "recognize" a part of my life in which i was finding my place in the world i inhabited....there were so many i missed (and which i have kicked myself all day about) such as Bloodbath, Deicide, Vital Remains and the like but i chose Cannibal instead....and i always believed that Cannibal got the fame Morbid Angel deserved....

For that sentence, I give you my eternal respect. Morbid Angel missed out on what was rightfully theirs.
Another Death Metal band that is worth mentioning: Bolt Thrower!

Cannibal Corpse are awesome live; the stage is their arena. The studio, however, is their prison. In my view their best album is their live album. In my view they should have only done live albums, especially as it was their live performances that they were most recognised for.
Seriously, what idiot buys a studio album of a live band? That should have been MA money X(

....I have to order all my albums over the net now as stores such as HMV, etc have actually downsized their metal sections....but increased their "urban music" section....urban music?....why not just call it their rap section....for local children who want to be "gangstas"....and think that listening to this....drivel....will enhance their "public cred"....seriously....if they want to be seen by everyone why not dress in all orange....or....we could nail them to the tower of london (like the good old days!)....i really dislike this "culture" as it is breeding discontented, arrogant and rude children who all grow up to either stab each other or worse....i mean why?....i never listened to any metal album of any kind and then thought to myself "i know today i am going to commit mass-murder....or shoot someone because they "dissed" me and messed with my "b*tches"....they should be downsizing this rubbish not metal....rap/hiphop is a baby compared with metal....and when it has finally (god let it be soon) died a death....the world will be a better and safer place....
....and also i forgot to mention Autopsy....also i prefer to see bands do their stuff live as a few i have liked have sucked live so i use this to guage how good they really are....going to Bloodstock, Donnington & Wacken this year as well as the defenders of the faith tour (lamb of god, dimmu borgir, five finger death punch + one to be named)....Metal rocks....rap sucks....:P

Nokturnal Mortum are supposed to be a NS band, but I think they make absolutely awesome music! No one's going to stop me listening to them, no matter their political agenda.

Emperor were one of the bands somewhat involved in the church burnings during the mid 90's. Samoth was jailed a short time for taking part in church burnings with Varg Vikernes (Burzum), along with other members of the Norwegian black metal scene. Ex-drummer Faust was jailed for church burning and also for the stabbing and murder of a stranger homosexual in 1992 and was never suspected for it until 2 years later!
Don't believe they're in any way related to NS though.

In the years running up to WW2 London had quite a problem with Brownshirts, men with Nazi views who were easily identified by their cut insistence on wearing brown shirts.
