@Imperial - shut the hell up. 95% of people who speak english, can barely speak english. half the IC community can barely spell words properly. If you're in a rush, or angry, or something, you'll misspell something, who the hell cares?!

lastly, 1431 and 1441 are not picking on people. If you attack us, why can't we fight back? Are you asking us to lay down our arms? Are you asking us to get "really high" and then let "smaller families" attack us and take what we fought for and what we have gained and what we use to maintain our high rank?

Are you asking us to allow ourselves to be defeated by a small family that if they had the chance to gain our planets would waste them and would bitch to the mods about another big family attacking them after they took our planets because we allowed them to? Their inactivity and their laziness would prove their undoing.

Activity, organization, leadership and teamwork is what makes an IC top fam successful. What choices are made with those 4 things are what determine an honorable and dishonorable family. if you have a problem with that, then why are you attacking them? Families like 41 and 31 only attacked when provoked, or when a family is fat and has been fat for a long time and did nothing to change that. Why poke the sleeping giant then complain to the mods, "oh, I was attacked by this big family." And not tell the whole story, or the whole truth?

the mods would tell you same thing I am now, "Well, if you attacked them, there is nothing we can do. They are simply retaliating. They shouldn't have to take it lying down. I doubt you would too." Small fams can hold their own if they make an effort. If you make no effort, then you should probably be a banker or something.

lastly, Think About it. A family under 25% your nw you can't attack unless they attack you first. So if you attack me first, this rule allows me to retaliate against you because Stefan (or whoever made this rule) realizes that if you allow a small person to take planets without a fight, then you are setting yourself up for disaster.

Imperial, you need to get of your old worn out chair, and open your eyes, me and the main drafts in my family have been round just as long if not longer then you have.  we've accomplished enough together as a family to put any records you have to shame.

mainly because IC is the same old thing. Too few changes, too much of the same story. fewer people means fewer families. Fewer families means smaller galaxies. Smaller galaxies means tighter space. Tighter space means bigger families need to spread out, and in doing so encroach on smaller families. and so on.


IC has been the same thing practically since what, 2004? Very few changes have been made except for this past year when Stefan actually made some effort. hell, the forums are the only things keeping most old players here. Not to mention alot of the older players were either college students moving on in rl, or are too busy to play short of semi-active.

Families of I.C. past were composed of alot of the current players, and even then, the galaxies were bigger, there was a stronger sense of teamwork and so on. IC was new, now it is getting old. New things need very little, but old things need new changes to survive.

That goes for rl too

i agree that theres definetly dihonourable players around and they are ruining the game, which does make a few people leave. however im not sure if in this case their is anyone being dishonourable, just a load of whinners whinning about kagar following up one of his grudges. he might be being a little harsh to ur fam but its kagar what do you expect, if your act like a pain in the arse he'll kill you

Maybe, depends I've accomplished a great deal, as I'm sure you have, but at the end of day i won't be remembered as a dishonorable prick.

what the root trouble is this

small family explores or otherwise has planets in big families territory but have a majority share in the system and can call it their core

Big family comes along says that's on our turf and takes the core

Small fam retails not wanting to just hand over a core they payed to expo

big fam gets pissed off at the nerve of small fame and takes about 4 other cores possibly not all in big fam's territory but close to small family's hs

small fam continues retakes now more focused on stuff close y which seems to anger big fam more

big family takes more...

see a pattern here?

I remeber when retakes where done those planets were ping ponged, laser traped or whatever till one family managed to retain control, only takeing other planets close by that are a threat liks close portals to help stop the ping ponging, not clearing whole systems cus your bigger to prove a point that the small fam should stay in their place

The concept here isn't 1 family or even 3 top families raping, us this week we have been hit by 6 top 10 families, unprovoked, of course they use some sort of lame ass excuse... next we will get raided because we have WMDs, and Oil.

if those fams have attacked you because you have made some cheeky attacks on them its fair. if they really are lame excuses then you have been treated very unfairly

Well...

1. Stamper/Mace Explored about 40 planets.
2. They took them
3. I retaled them
4. They retaled them
5. I retaled them
6. They retaled, and wiped my fleet took 12 portaled, and heavily OB planets


We posed no threat to them, they were just greedy wanted the 40 planets, (Like they needed them?), and for our troubles of attempting to get any decent size, we got got smashed back into the corner, oppression is not my policy for good gaming.

Maybe you guys should watch UFC, and learn from the honor/respect the fighters give each other.

Okay, I'll add my two sense. I have dealt with 31. I am in a very small fam. They have dealt well with me. Very honorably even.

If people in your fam make mistakes your whole fam is culpable. If you attack a big friggen fam, be prepared to be smacked. Don't be prideful and think your all that because then you'll just be turned around and raped as well.

You know if you attack a big fam, even if they are in your core, unless you are willing to prolong attacks and make sure you clear EVERY planet at once... Then just don't do it. That's my opinon

Listos: I told Orbit to stay out of this because the situation he described was MY situation, in this topic, we are talking about Imperial's situation. Orbit being in 1431 makes it even worse, that means he fails to correctly read the forums AND his own fam news.

You can say 'piss us off, we kill you' in a society with complete dictatorship. If you piss off the big guys, they kill you. The sentence shows the complete picture of the corruption of the IC player that also posts in the forums.

I hope you even understand the words i'm typing, cuz obviously people prefer destroying each other's game rather than learning English, which is pretty sad. With corruption I mean that the bigger people have the power over the smaller people, while actually, bigger people should guard over small people and should leave them alone. You can treat little fams with thesame respect as you treat big fams, but you dont.
Let's give examples:

Big fam attacks big fam
----------------------------
HOW IT SHOULD BE --> * leaders talk it over, they come to an agreement
HOW IT SHOULD BE --> * attackers fight each other (fair, without raiding bankers or sh*t) and the winner gets the area
HOW IT IS --> * Attacked fam saves up and prepares a banker-raid to learn the other fam a nice lesson.

Small fam attacks big fam
-------------------------------
HOW IT SHOULD BE --> * leaders talk it over, they come to an agreement
HOW IT SHOULD BE --> * attackers fight each other (fair, without raiding bankers or sh*t) and the winner gets the area
HOW IT IS --> * Big fam abuses his powers, kicks the attackers as far as they can and most of the time raid their poor bankers

Big fam attacks small fam
--------------------------------
HOW IT SHOULD BE --> * It just shouldnt happen unless there is a FAIR reason for it (like after a few peace talks that didnt work out)
HOW IT IS --> * Big camaars seek for players 36% of their NW in small fams and kick their asses, banker or attacker, doesnt matter, cuz they wanna win teh size!!
