I know this sounds like my work, but I promise, I wasn't there. It wasn't me
LMAO ![]()
LOL shows how much i read arsy ![]()
well you went full out last time then =P
you know what, I think this sign up thing is ridiculously unfair
after all, many of us have school, work etc, and MANY MANY MANY people who do mafia are the same people over and over and over
some of us can't get to a computer to ingame arsy
for the record...I think that arsy should institute a rule where if you did the previous mafia, you sit out the next one
He posted in the other thread that it would be up soon. He has added several more spots so more people can play. I've sat out last round and this round so others can play. There really isn't a whole lot more that he can do. When he says its coming soon.. then it's coming soon and it fills up fast. And yes it would be nice if some of the people who have played alot would sit out once in a while so new ones can play.
So don't be upset with arsy.. he puts alot of time in on these games.
i'm willing to give up my spot if you wanna play listos..
i'm cool with that and if arsy's cool with that.. then we can work it out..
You have to be active to play the mafia game, the more active people have a higher chance of seeing the thread earlier and be able to play, sounds fair to me.
Indeed.
I gave 24 hour notice on IRC and over 12 hours notice in the forums.. plus with actual signup being over a 22 hour period, that's almost 2 days. If you can't get online within a 2 day period then you really shouldn't be playing mafia. Events happen over each day and night both on IRC and the forum and if you're not around to see them, there's hardly any point taking part.
We've already increased the number of spots slightly, but there's a limit to what the game can handle. Those who play mafia time and time again are the players who are dedicated enough to invest the time to play, be active and on the whole, that's what makes the game fun. Blocking those players from playing just doesn't make sense.

Indeed!!!!!!!!!!:P

The royal subject was shocked to hear of the attack on the King. Who would want to do such a thing? he asked himself as he started to walk down the 205 steps of the spiral staircase which ran alongside the inside of the bell tower. The sun had set and he had finished his job of ringing the bell for the night. He peered through the large open windows as he made his descent and looked out on the royal courtyard, where all was quiet. The candle he was holding flickered gently in the breeze which hit him.
As he peered out, he noticed a couple of figures running across the royal gardens, heading straight for the bell tower. They were wearing cloaks which meant he couldn't see their faces, but the moonlight reflected brightly from the blades they were holding. He heard a slamming sound underneath him as he knew they had reached the tower and entered through the large wooden doors. He tried to be as quiet as he could as he started to make his way back up the stairs. Footsteps rang throughout the tall building as the two traitors began to walk up the stairs.
"We know you're here Arnor! You just rang the bell!" one of the shouted upwards. The voice echoed off the circular stone walls of the tower as it made its way up to where Arnor was standing. He dropped his candle as he started running up the stairs, taking 2 steps at a time. His followers took his lead and raced up behind him.
The giant bell hung at the top of the staircase and Arnor ran to the opposite side and attempted to hide. The two cloaked figures emerged a moment later and started walking towards him. One approached from the left, whils the other from the right. Their knives were outstretched ready to do damage. Arnor knew he was cornered and quickly pondered over his options.
As the traitors approached, Arnor clasped his hands together and muttered a few words to God before turning around suddenly and faced the open window. The traitors realised what he was going to do and quickly moved. But it was too late. Arnor plunged the full length of the tower to his death.
The traitors high-fived each other and peered over the side at the bloody mess at the foot of the bell tower. That was almost too easy.

Iluvatar sat down on his bed and undid the laces of his shoes. It had been a good night. He and his fellow traitors had begun their search for the King tonight and although they didn't find him, they managed to kill off one of his loyal subjects. Tomorrow, they would try again and would perhaps be more successful.
He blew out the candle beside his bed and lay back, thinking of tomorrow's victim. However, the silence was suddenly interupted by some notes of music which started playing in the corner of his room. Puzzled, he quickly took a match and relit the candle he had doused a moment earlier. Out of nowhere, a golden harp had appeared beside his window. It wasn't there earlier. What was even stranger was that it appeared to be playing softly. He swung his legs out of bed and walked over to the instrument to inspect it. The tune was starting to pick up pace as he studied the harp strings moving and vibrating of their accord.
As he continued to look at the harp, intrigued by what he was watching, he felt a strange twitch in both of his legs. He felt it again a second later and before he knew it, his legs were moving against his will. He initially thought he was jumping but then realised he was dancing in time with the music. He then felt the same twitches in his arms and suddenly his arms were also moving in time with the music. He used all of his might to stop and put his arms down, but he was unable to - they continued to wave up and down whilst his legs jigged.
Iluvatar wondered whether he should scream out loud to capture someone's attention but it seemed as if the notes from the magical harp were getting louder and faster. He began to lose his breath as his movements also picked up pace. He chose that moment to call out, but the sound which came out was feeble as he began to understand how tired he was becoming. The soles of his bare feet were beginning to feel sore as his dance quickened once again, with his arms and legs flying in every direction.
Inside his head, he could hear the beating of his heart turn from a soft thud to a swelling pain as he realised he could no longer breathe. He attempted to cry out once again, but to no avail. His dance had started to look like a violent fit when his heart gave way. The aftershocks of his heart attack could not be seen above his verocious movements.
The music stopped as suddenly as it had begun and the magical hold over Iluvatar ended, dropping his lifeless body to the floor. Silence filled the room once more as blood dripped from the bottom of his red raw feet. Outside the room, the Sorcerer of Death smiled. He dropped the miniture harp he was holding to the floor and walked swiftly down the corridor to return to his chambers.
