hey bahamut, I want 100 free ob'd planets. Can I get these right on the spot?
'36 are obviously lame [sexual intercourse]'s who rape every fam that is at least 15 ranks lower than theirs and NAP the rest.
Without reading this thread, '36 members are probably trying to find an excuse to make their attacks correct, and if these persons are liked in the IC community, they will even be in their right. Pathetic isn't it?
Haha as leader of 1454, I was like WTF?! That's new to me. And why does Sm0ke care so much? lol. That'd be cool if someone made a whining thread on our behalf since I tend to refrain in doing so unless something EXTRAORDINARILY dishonorable is happening. But yeah I was rather confused for a moment there

Hmmm as for Bahamut saying they would NAP 1456 on the spot, I kinda doubt it. (No offense to 1436 in particular.) It's just that MOST (although not all) big fams don't even reply to the most polite NAP requests as they discount you as some silly Nub, purely due to your rank, that isn't worth their time. I understand that the larger fams want to keep NAPs limited to real threats, but when this happens the little fam basically has three options.
1) Explore as far away from them as possible and pretty much just PRAY.
2) Jump one person with all of the families money in a desperate attempt to protect your core/shared systems.
3) Make a whining thread as soon as they make their first move against you, hoping for Mercy.
So as much as I despise whining threads, they sometimes do get the bigger fam bad PR, which can persuade them into signing a less than beneficial NAP. So for smaller fams in can be a successful last resort. But ALWAYS at least try and message them first, no mater how futile you might think it is.

IT's a growing fad that big friggen fams will invade little fams areas and clear them. EVEN IF the clearing happens 1 tick from that little fams home system.

we (1431) gave a p nap to the small fam 1447 next to us, so not all top fams are farmers, and just in general we atack 90% fams in top 10 to 15.
so not all top fams are evil 
and both these fams have now napped?? no?? so bahamut did give them one on the spot like he said!
I never said it didn't happen guys, I just said it was rare, you have to be an expert negotiator. I'm about to get a NAP with a fam 3x my size, but that's not the case with most small fams vs large fams confrontations...

All of 1436 could use a round with prozac as leader. Probably the most important thing I learned last round was from him: that farming is a waste of time. Nap small fams, and use their "core" to further your spread more quickly because they are not trying retake all the time. And why rape a small fam, only get 30-40 planets, and waste 2 weeks, when you can raid a big fam and get 100+ planets in the same time frame 
However, core clearing is of utmost importance to big fams. If indeed they were core cleaning, it's justifiable.
Yes, and there are fams that do that too CT, if you're the little fam then the key is to put up a good fight and make it more worthwhile to P NAP if they're trying to spread through your core to quietly get at their enemies.
Although I suppose if someone were really cunning, or just downright cruel, they could always tell Big Fam B that Big Fam A is attacking their way into the little fam's core. Implying that Big Fam A is probably after Big Fam B and just using the little fam's systems as their launching point (whether the little fam really thinks that Big Fam A is or not). Thus instigating a war between Big Fam A and B and allowing the little fam to clear their cores of both Big Fams while they're preoccupied with each other/down for the count/out of morale I've never done this before, but it'd be rather funny, and not to mention entirely possible. 
lol. this thread really took off while i wasnt watching. emohotpocket has it right.
i probably should have sent the message first, but in a hot headed moment i whinged first.
i truly beleive that i would not have got the NAP if i just asked for it straight away, i probably would have got the "were just core cleaning" excuse.
But it worked out ok for me i took all the retakes and then bahamut offered the NAP virtually straight away so i got to keep most of the planets as well.
i can understand how a family at the top might want to pinch some planets from smaller fams to stay ahead, and not pick fights with the other big families because that might become a major setback,, but attacking small fams is not the right thing to do..
and in the end can cause 'young' players to become discouraged

its interesting how the reshuffles reshuffles nothing ... as for the deletes ... two warriors come ... take the bank and control ... start a pointless war ... give away planets ... then delete with the bank to another family ... same o same o ... how bout ... two double accounts again set up a family ... destroy it and leave before getting caught ? you guys in need of a warrior ... keep your eyes on roxy ... he is hot ... !

And there is no rule that disallow big fams to attack small fams. If so... at one point the nr1 fam can't attack anymore at all. So... just face it. Be a pain and look what the fam of Kagar did last round. Much smaller then their attackers... but such a pain XD.

FFS it was like 25 planets, most of them were retaken, we NAP'd within like 2 ticks of them asking.
