Re: Space: The Third Story.

Chance's apartment, located on the fifty-fourth floor of a residential high-rise, was a rather nice one-bedroom suite with a living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and holographic entertainment system - enough to comfortably sustain one person through the strenuous work schedule of the Manheim Institute. He rented the apartment from the housing provider for 1,875 credits per month, and he owned all the furniture inside. Being a rather wealthy scientist, paid 168,000 credits a year for his work, he didn't need to rely on his Standard Citizen Allocation to survive.

As he waved his hand near the citizenship scanner next to his apartment door, he reflected on what life would be like if he were to rely on his SCA. Ranked as Master Specialist, he would receive board and lodging in a rather Spartan set of living quarters, as well as a clean uniform and a daily allocation of two thousand kilocalories' worth of food and five thousand cubic centimeters of drinking water. Anything else not provided by the employer or the military cost extra.

Receiving the SCA was optional, and Chance chose not to receive it, as he didn't really fancy the food choices the UEF Administrative Service would send in the twice-weekly packages. Besides, he was affluent and successful enough to live without having to lean on the lowest common denominator, a last-resort solution for those without anywhere else to go.

The citizenship scanner beeped once, and the door to his apartment slid open. He stepped into the living room, the door sliding closed behind him, and collapsed on the couch from exhaustion. He sat there for a few minutes, staring at nothing in particular, before picking up a remote control and turning on the television screen.

He tuned to the news channel and watched a short report on unrest on the other side of the Barrier, the local name for the connection between Earth and that other universe where Earth didn't exist. The Talus had unilaterally withdrawn from the Alliance, and conflict was a real possibility.

Chance couldn't bring himself to care too much; the Talus were too detached from life within the UEF to really matter to him. His only fleeting thoughts were about Clay, his brother, and Carl, his father, wondering about how they would deal with the situation.

He was interrupted by a priority broadcast addressed to the research team.

"It works."

Upon hearing these words, Chance was euphoric. He immediately scheduled a celebration for the research team; they had worked long and hard and deserved some time to relax and unwind.

Logan stepped through the door with his rifle at the ready and felt Amanda follow suit, both of them covering everything in the room within a second. There was a very long thin corridor, and at the far end of the room was a small figure laying slumped along the floor.

Re: Space: The Third Story.

As soon as James teleported Carl back to the gunship, Carl knew exactly what to do. He climbed into the gunship's pilot seat, knowing he didn't have much time. He started up the gunship's engines, bringing it to hover about a meter off the ground.

He blasted away at the relatively flimsy walls of the guard tower they had landed in, creating a hole large enough to fly through. He flew the gunship through and into the open air.

Throwing caution to the winds, he activated the gunship's radar, just in time to see two humanoid-sized figures leaping off a building.

Carl brought the gunship on a swift approach course, activating its afterburner. As he got closer, he saw four Kallum-sized figures also falling, and gunfire being exchanged.

As he grew closer, he brought his gunship on a steep dive, seeking to match velocity with the falling humans, whom he now recognized as Logan and Robert. He manuevered closer, and when he had them pressed against the gunship's dorsal surface, he slowly leveled out, making a large vertical arc in the sky, careful to prevent the G-forces from growing too large.

By the time he was level again, he was flying inches from the ground, along the city's main avenue.

He made a quick landing in a side alley, then opened the gunship's top hatch. He called to Logan and Robert.

"Get in, quickly," he said. "Things could get rough."

Re: Space: The Third Story.

The deep thud shook the tower with enough force to shatter the remaining glass. One of the Wardancers on guard peering through the scope of the Kallum rifle said "Get Krg, it is time"
"Are you sure?" Frgr asked him as the two other able bodied warriors began securing Krg to the table with lengths of cable torn out of the walls. Another thud shook the earth and a plume of smoke and dust rose in the distance, "I'm sure".

As the Teranova gave the signal and rose from the planet the Crbrs rose out of subspace, brutally punching its way into the universe trailing fire. The moment it was fully inside the universe squadrons of triple winged fighters launched, firing upon the orbital defences as the Crbrs dove towards the planet, roaring into the atmosphere as the Terranova broke the clouds with dozens of anti air missiles in pursuit. And instant later more missiles emerged from the clouds as the first group found their target.
No explosion?
"Mass packets, ram them!" Subcommander Erf called over the roar of reentry. If too many mass packets hit the Terranova she'd be to heavy to manuver, or worse too heavy to escape. The Crbrs pitched violently as the collective impact of the mass packets struck like a gigantic hammer, "Armor?!" He called above the alarms, "Holding!"
"Take us back up, signal the clawships to move in, but remind them to only commandeer the defences, nothing else until the Terranova is gone."

"So, it's defeat for you, is it? Someday I must meet a similar fate..."

As the orbital defences fell silent the Crbrs left the atmosphere of the world. "What? What are they doing here?" Subcommander Erf pointed at the screen. "The Terranova is docking, it's engines are inactive." The tactical officer spoke quickly, "Message from the Unification sir, a large Kallum fleet is approaching, as is the Morningstar." Morningstar? Erf found himself wishing he had read the UEF's data files more thoroughly.

"Regroup; all fighters to the bays, tell the boarders to fire one volley at the planets' surface and then return, fast. When they're back join our friends, cover the Terranova. Comms? Ready a channel with the Unification, our friends will have something to say in about thirty seconds."

Upon arriving on the planets surface Jeodan realized he was still in contact with the ship. Although he could feel the signal was delayed.

Jeodan immediately went out to search the local diplomat; Deathsquad was his last name, just like Jeodan's, although it was a subject on his agenda there were many pressing matters to attend.

You could not see it standing right in front of the building but the entire structure like all other diplomat houses were made in a honey-cone structure. Even there the stones stood in the same shape but many thousands of miles apart. He just remembered this and cursed at himself for not asking the people that had saved him what it all meant. His mind only strayed once from what was said and that was the battle. All though but military slipped his mind like magic the very instant he saw Kallum ships. On top of that the presence of the female still always seemed to be near and far at the same time.

Upon entering the building he was immediately met by two Cybrs. "For attacking a soldier Wartefu is being taken to be penalized."

Re: Space: The Third Story.

General Samantha Clarke was the commanding officer of the UES Unification, the most powerful starship the United Earth Federation was willing to commit to the Blacken war effort. The Unification was one hell of a ship, too. Forty-five kilometers long, with a complement of twenty thousand fighters, enough weapons and munitions to single-handedly glass a small moon, and the ability to service ships up to battlecruiser-size in its massive ship docking bays, the Unification was the prime example of UEF power projection.

Samantha controlled the ship from the large double-decker command bridge, the upper deck acting as ship command and the lower deck acting as fleet command. The captain's chair itself, surrounded by ghostly panel-like holograms populated with data, was located on a peninsula that extended out into the parabolic two-story main viewscreen shared by both the ship and fleet command sections of the bridge.

When she received the call for aid from the Terranova and the Wardancer unit near the Kallum-controlled world of Laertes III, she immediately ordered the Unification,  along with the rest of Battlegroup Alpha, to jump to their position.

The Unification jumped into position, facing a large Kallum fleet; as soon as the Kallum ships saw the Unification, they turned their guns and started firing on the massive carrier. The Unification's massive shields soaked up the damage fairly easily as Samantha ordered a full scramble of fighters.

The fighter bay doors on the port and starboard sides of the Unification opened, and fighter craft swarmed out of the Unification like locusts, four hundred at a time, as the rest of Battlegroup Alpha moved to engage the Kallum threat.

The Unification flew between the Kallum fleet and the Terranova, covering the damaged little ship from Kallum fire, and the Terranova flew up into one of the Unification's ship docking bays, located on the ventral surface of the carrier.

Shortly afterwards, Samantha pressed a button on her command chair, which slid downward inertialessly to the fleet command bridge, then greeted Logan and Carl, who were just exiting the teleportation booth.

"Doctor Bridgetown and Doctor Grimnar are taking Robert to the medical bay," Carl explained. "The primary phase of our mission was successful. Now we need to extract back to Blacken as soon as possible."

"Understood, General," Samantha responded. "There is a problem, though. The Unification's hyperdrive has developed glitches and, to recharge for a jump to Blacken, needs more time than we have."

"Couldn't we call Administrator Bridgetown?" Carl asked.

"Good idea," Samantha responded. "We should be able to hold out until he gets here. In the meantime, Admiral Grimnar," she said, turning to Logan, "the fleet is yours."

Carl immediately made his way to the nearest console and opened a channel to Blacken V. He was greeted by Crusader Julius Bridgetown, an Aeon commander turned colony administrator.

"What can I do for you, Carl?" Julius asked.

"Administrator, we've successfully retrieved Robert Grimnar, but we're having issues with the Unification's hyperdrive," Carl explained. "Can you come in and perform an assist jump?"

"Give me ten minutes," Julius said, closing the connection.

Carl turned back to Logan, who was busy coordinating the battle. "The Salvation is on its way, it'll be here in ten minutes," he called out.

"Understood," Logan replied. The bridge shook slightly as another salvo of Kallum weapons fire slammed into the Unification's shields; Carl glanced at the master status display, noting that shields were down to sixty percent.

Carl turned back to his console, now monitoring repair progress on the Terranova.

"Incoming Wardancer signatures," a bridge officer announced. Logan maneuvered the fleet accordingly. "They are hailing us," the same officer announced shortly afterwards.

"The Morningstar and Battlegroup Charlie have arrived to cover us," another officer announced.

Samantha pressed a button on her command chair, which slid back up to the ship command deck. "Open a channel to the Wardancers," she ordered.

"The reports are in, gentlemen. It is time." Garrus said on board the private shuttle, preparing to land on the surface of one of the moons of Nordok Prime. "We're outnumbered, outgunned but we've got something they don't. We've got friends and lots of them, I've sent messages to the Alliance. With any luck the Allaince will start backing us either directly, or indirectly. Lets get to it." He said as the shuttle landed, jolting them from the uneven ground.

All around him, Garrus saw Talus soldiers and citizens grabbing ammunition, grenades and equiptment as they headed off of the shuttle. Three other shuttles landed around them, dipositing soldiers of what Garrus called 'The Talus Republic'. He saw many familiar faces amongst the crowd, as they headed off in different directions, all heading up and over the ridge before them.

Garrus finaly reached the top of the ridge, his rifle slung at his side. He looked down at the valley, the system's star just coming over the horizon, filling it with bright light. The small outpost was just waking up, a few early risers were walking around, but most were still inside. He smiled, his timing could not have been more perfect.

As he smiled, he glanced to the east of the camp, and from the fringe of the forest there he saw shapes emerge. Gun fire erupted from the tree line, pulses of energy blasting apart the short walls of teh outpost. Watch towers turned into clouds of dust as rifles peppered them. A small rocket soared off of the ridge to his left, striking one of the three tanks in the motor pool. He smiled once again and ran down the ridge after the others.

Erf had not seen a Human female before, and was surprised by her apparent lack of size. "Subcommander, I'll keep this short," She said sternly, "The UEF does not fire on civillian targets, ever, but we will discuss this later. We will be leaving in ten minutes, can you hold out that long?"

The Wardancer suddenly seemed very upset and cut the communications channel. "The Wardancers are changing course and speed," The officer called out, causing Logan to curse under his breath as he quickly cancelled the fleet manuver order, "They are heading directly towards the Kallum." Samantha turned to Carl, "I'd better make a note of their fragile egoes." Carl grinned, "They struck me as the delicate sort." Samantha leaned forwards in her chair, "Hmm. We'd better take advantage of this while we can. Science," She called over her shoulder, "Tactical," She addressed the officer at one of the consoles in front of her, "Continuous scans of the Wardancer vessel".

"So, it's defeat for you, is it? Someday I must meet a similar fate..."

Re: Space: The Third Story.

Colonel Lee Waterfield was the deputy chief medical officer aboard the Unification. Whenever Doctor Bridgetown was off on assignment, it was Doctor Waterfield's job to take his place. It was always a stressful experience for Doctor Waterfield, and he was always left in awe when considering the ease with which Doctor Bridgetown managed all the chaos aboard the massive carrier.

Doctor Waterfield was monitoring Ward One of the primary sickbay. The ward, one of five in the primary sickbay and one of many across the ship, was enormous, well-equipped, and well-staffed. With two hundred intensive-care beds, twenty military-grade cellular reconstruction units, thirty advanced operating tables, and seven hundred fifty general-care beds, the ward could handle the entire spectrum of injuries. With an efficient, well-trained staff supplemented by top-of-the-line medical and robotic technology, the ward could process combat casualties and return them to battle stations in minutes if need be.

The wide sliding door to the ward slid open, revealing Doctor Bridgetown, the chief medical officer, and Doctor Grimnar, his favorite intern, wheeling a stretcher in. Doctor Waterfield immediately recognized the person on the stretcher as the figure that Doctor Bridgetown's strike operation was scheduled to retrieve: the boy Robert Grimnar.

"He's stable," Doctor Bridgetown told Doctor Waterfield as the two of them, along with Doctor Grimnar, transferred Robert from the stretcher to an intensive-care bed, "but something seems to be possessing him. I don't know how his life signs are going to play out, but I want to be prepared for the worst."

"Can't you neutralize the thing possessing him?" Doctor Waterfield asked.

"Amanda and I are trying," Doctor Bridgetown replied, beginning a routine life-signs scan, "but we have yet to establish a solid attack vector." He stopped suddenly. "Hey, that's interesting..."

"What is it?" Doctor Waterfield asked.

Before James could reply, the ship shook as another salvo of Kallum weapons fire slammed into the vessel. The lighting in the ward changed from bluish-white to yellow, indicating that the Unification's shields were down.

"Casualty reports coming in from the starboard hangar bays," a doctor announced.

"Go deal with the incoming wounded," Doctor Bridgetown told Doctor Waterfield. "I need to watch over Robert."

"Done and done, sir," Doctor Waterfield responded, moving to coordinate a small wave of stretchers that had just arrived at the ward's front door.

Re: Space: The Third Story.

"Reports are just coming in, but we believe that a militant group has assaulted an Imperial outpost on Ios, the second moon of Nordok Prime." A Talus news broadcaster said as various news stations to spread the information interrupted programs. "Wait! WE have just gotten a more in-depth report... It appears that a group of our soldiers, under command of Garrus Valkarian, have stormed a military outpost on Ios and have taken control of the missile launch computers there. The purpose of this attack is unknown, but we are sure to find out. This is a few second clip we have received, from our satellite, of one of the base's cameras during the attack."

The broadcaster instantly got up and went to one of the consoles, as the rest of his viewers watched the clip begin.

It was sunny out, the camera was watching the tree line, a few soldiers were walking along and birds could be heard tweeting away. Then a series of pops could be heard, followed by much louder pops as pulse rifle energy rounds impacted. The trio of soldiers that could be seen, all fell immediately and screams could be heard from behind the camera. A line of Talus soldiers rushed out of the tree line, seeming to materialize out of the air. The camera went black and then switched to another, this was a side view of what happened and they could see a small explosion as the first camera was hit.

From this view they could see a larger line of advancing soldiers out of the tree line, exchanging heavy fire with a smaller group in the middle. Within three or four seconds, it went from two groups firing on each other rapidly, to a beaten line of advancing soldiers and a grouping of bodies. A rocket could be seen streaking in, exploding off of the screen, then a soldier walked up to the camera. He aimed and you could see his finger twitch and a flash of blue from his barrel, then it went black.

While that clip was airing, Garrus was standing in a camera room, looking through the monitors at the base, many barracks's held prisoners that had given up during the short struggle, which had lasted only four minutes after the initial attack. He shook his head, knowing this was only the first of many bloody struggles that would come in the years ahead. He turned and walked down the underground hallway to another room with larger monitors. These showed the planet of Nordok Prime, which held a population of nearly forty million Talus citizens, not to mention the tens of thousands of soldiers stationed here as a jump point against the Kallum.

"Record a message to be delivered to Admiral Septimus on Nordok Prime." Garrus ordered a soldier. "Its time to bring this out into the open... also... arm the missiles."

Re: Space: The Third Story.

Kyle Gibson is in his office currently in the process of broadcasting on the activities of exploring Scion to the various Children of the Creator factions.

Kyle begins, identifying and acknowledging that many pilgrims are stranded or enroute to one of the converted 33 Scion worlds, both Kallum, Talus and Human have joined the Scions and rings have been put in place.

"Of the some 1,300 plus colonial ships that have arrived at Scion the population is growing to nearly 116,000 souls. We are continually amazed at how the various devices in the buildings and structures provided by the Scion have cared for the settlers with great detail. It has seemed in many cases that each building that they have moved the colonists into was build specifically just for who moves in. Life has been very good to so many of the people, that often times they become so enraptured that they become unruly and euphoric. Educational classes are being implemented to help colonists handle the transition from their old worlds to this one. The orientation classes have proven most helpful, although there is still an occasional group of people worshipping the buildings from time to time.

"Tension still exists between many Human, Talus and Kallum, so security measures have been put in place and have proven to be very effective. Amazingly, there are times the buildings simply have enclosed belligerent individuals in a stasis like field until security teams have arrived. Events were common the first couple weeks, but only occur bi-weekly now. Most seem to become more and more engrossed the enormity about them. Still, we have 126 in detention, so there is still some work to do on this accord. I have a meeting with the council leaders on a daily basis which we are all working on overcoming these prejudices.

"On our frontier, we have been converting many of the more sizable colony ships to ships-of-the-line with the assistance of various "shipyard" type interfaces on the ring. I have to report to you though, that the majority of the ring based technologies are not understood. Additionally we must also report that security and engineering teams have only been able to access just over 1% of its total systems. They have reported it may take lifetimes to even get a minute understanding of that is envolved.

"Now as wonderful as all this sounds... that isn't even the the beginning of what I have to tell you.

"In our search efforts to understand this colony, we have been discovering so many forms of new technology; I will have a hard time explaining where to begin.

"First, and most exciting has been the transportation systems we have been learning how to use. We have found we are able to use personal and transport sized portals to travel around the planet. We are instantly able to travel from one side of planet to another in a coordinated transport system. We are still working this out, but we believe that the ultimate destination you go to one you simply have to have in your mind, and you are transported to the nears portal to your destination. It has literally been an incredible means to advance our growing economy here on Scion. We will report more as we learn more. It is also conjectured that we may be able to utilize these portals to travel planet to planet, though we have had some tests potentially prove the possibilities. We have yet to actually have conclusive results this to be true.

"Secondly, and nearly as exciting, has to do with Industrial complex on this planet. We have found no heat or energy sources, or even raw materials used in some of the manufacturing plants. Refining-plants seem intuitive to the engineers needs, as if they are reading the minds of the engineers and creating the device. Most of the time the items created at this point are basic, and no more advanced than the technology that the engineers understand.

"Most of these technologies are not understood, and they are unable to resolve the power sources, thus, unable to replicate any of these systems off world. It is apparent the Scion has some safeguards to prevent this technology from being stolen. We have put some of the brightest minds planet-side on this, and I hope to have a more definitive report shortly.

"Now, I must ask that you all sit, as far as what I have to tell you now are truly what is the most important knowledge; which I will share with you from Scion.

"Archeology and lingual teams have been hard at work, and as exciting as the events I have told you, there is something wonderful that I must share with you.

"Our teams are still a bit sketchy on some of the translations, but a lot of the pictograms and writings on certain pillars throughout the planet have had what we have determined to be the History of the Scion. These pillars only tell certain parts of the story, and are spread all over the planet-side. Our teams seem to find one about every other week as they go through the colony complex.

"We have found one special section that had four of these special pillars. It tells of the Scions and their birth and service to the Ad'min. The creators, as Nai spoke in his introduction, are not the Scion, but the Ad'min. The Ad'min created the Scion when the universe first began according to the first pillar. In an event they have loosely translates to modification, apparently the Scion were the first race to learn to travel the stars.

"The second pillar tells of what the roles the Scion were modified, reborn or created to serve. They were either as caretakers or protectors for the Universe and the future races. They feel that Nai is a "Caretaker" as the technology that they have been continually discovering seems all to occupied with ensuring the wellbeing of whomever or whatever life exists around it. There are stories about how even some of the pets that were brought by colonists to this planet have been cured or healed of scars, as well as some blind have been reporting that they have been getting glimpses of sight. It truly is a wonder, but I digress.
This suggests there may be another king of Scion we have not seen yet. Military versions, perhaps offensive, as it appears much of Nai

Re: Space: The Third Story.

The exterior of the Unification was a flurry of railgun and laser fire. Thousands of alien boarding craft weaved their way through the field of fire, escorted by Kallum fighters and pursued by Alliance interceptor craft.

Specialist Jonathan Walsh was a fighter pilot stationed aboard the Unification, flying one of twelve thousand single-seater Tiger Mark Six fighters. Inside the cramped cockpit, he had access to sophisticated flight control computers and a holographic heads-up display meshed with an advanced control yoke that allowed him to maneuver the craft and dodge incoming weapons fire with ease. At a glance, he was able to ascertain the health of the craft's twin contra-terrene engines and advanced shield generator. With a single touch, he could switch the targeting systems between the onboard quad particle beam cannons, capable of rotating up to thirty degrees off the flight axis, and any of eight different external pylons capable of holding missiles, torpedoes, bombs, sensor packages, mines, doomsday devices, or anything else that the eggheads at Military Research could come up with.

He kept his gaze on a Kallum landing craft as it rocketed closer to the Unification's hull, the onboard computers rotating the onboard cannons to compensate. He pulled the trigger on his control yoke, releasing a salvo of particle-beam shots that landed squarely on the enemy craft's hull. Splashes of blue energy ricocheted off the Kallum craft, which seemed to be undamaged - not even scratches manifested themselves.

He pulled up sharply just in time to avoid a salvo of plasma shots from a Kallum fighter that was tailing him. He performed a barrel roll, then turned sharply back again for another attack run.

Another salvo of particle-beam shots had just as little effect. He quickly changed targeting modes, arming an anti-frigate missile, while keeping his gaze on the enemy landing craft.

As soon as he heard the sound which told him the missile was locked on to his target, he fired. The missile separated from its pylon with a small explosive charge, then streaked forward.

Seconds later, the missile exploded on the landing craft's hull, ripping a hole in its armor, as it deployed landing clamps and latched on to the Unification's hull like a parasite.

"They are attaching to the hull," a bridge officer reported.

"Acknowledged," Samantha replied. "All marines and combat drones to battle stations!" She took the time to remind herself that the intruders would have to burrow through half a kilometer of solid notum-reinforced metal - no easy task.

"Incoming contact," another officer called out. "It's the Salvation. They are hailing us."

Carl answered the hail. "About time, Julius."

On the other end, aboard the Salvation's main bridge, Julius nodded. "About time indeed. Give me a minute."

Seconds later, with the aid of the Aeon warship's fleet hyperdrive, Battlegroups Alpha and Charlie, along with its fighter and bomber escort, were instantaneously in orbit around Blacken. No trace of the Kallum or any other enemies remained.

"Things have become more complicated at home," Julius warned. "While you were away, the Talus Empire split off from the rest of the Alliance. We suspect Kallum subversion. Garrus Valkarian is organizing an Alliance-backed resistance group styling themselves the Talus Republic, and they've just launched a strike on the Talus planet Nordok. Additionally, we've lost contact with the border worlds of Redwall and Granite, both of which are on the opposite side from the Kallum border, but point directly to where the Kyrozch were last seen."

Carl nodded. "I'll come down to the surface to see what can be done about the Talus issue. James is tending to Robert Grimnar. I'm sure Logan and Fleet Command will be able to figure out what to do about the Kyrozch."

"Very well," Julius said. "Just try not to get yourself in too much trouble again. And don't use the Unification for travel into danger zones until its hyperdrive is fixed. You nearly fried mine - that thing's massive."

"Sorry about that," Carl responded. "I'll keep that in mind."

"Admiral, You now understand that I mean business. Surrender, or I will target the orbital facilities." Garrus said into the radio.

"Garrus... You just... I can't-" The Admiral was cut off abruptly by gun fire and shouting. Several seconds passed, then a new voice came onto the radio.

"Garrus Valkarian? This is Rex Vaylek; we have taken control of the bridge of the battle station and are awaiting orders. Spread around the station, I have almost four hundred soldiers loyal to the Republic."

"Rex, glad to meet you. Take full control of the Battle Station, I'm dispatching a few hundred men to the other facilities now... Do we have an allies planeside?" Garrus asked, grateful to not have to launch any more missiles.

"I wouldn't know, Sir. But word is that there are plenty of people in the Empire who are on your side. It seems like almost half of the Empire wants to join you, good news, eh?" Rex said, happily.

"Rex, I wish it was... all that means is that this war will rage for far longer then you think. This is only the beginning, but we have to get in contact with what friends we have." Garrus ended the conversation with Rex and opened a line with Raxian. "Raxian, take four hundred men and take the orbital installations, we have friends in control of the station." Raxian acknowledged and Garrus turned to a communications officer. "Open a public channel and declare that Nordok Prime is now property of the Talus Republic."

"Alright men, stay calm and remember to squeeze, not pull. We are expecting light resistance, but they are going to give us hell no matter what... lets give it back." Raxian told his men as the shuttles drew closer to the orbital grid. The shuttles split up, heading to different docks and within moments landed. Raxian picked up his rifle and put on his helmet. Then the ramp dropped...

Re: Space: The Third Story.

Jeodan and Ward sat in a large 6-tangular room next to eachother on a round desk. It was very sober as were most homes and buildings of the Cy'Tan, they like to use their heads to see their perfect home whitout needing it.
The desk was cluttered with reports of the humanoids and they were discussing strategies on how to deal with the various problems they faced when Ward pulled out one that was special to Jeodan.

"Is that one about Talus?" Jeodan asked.
"Yes it is, I wonder what it's doing with the alliance reports." Ward replied.
"Could youy pass it over?"
"It's not a priorety. There are other things to be discussed first."
"He is a personal friend."
"Fine." Ward said as he handed the piece of paper over to Jeodan.

Although it might come as a shock to people he would kill his own people Jeodan was not dazed. He knew Garrus would do anything to preserve his species, and go to far lengts to ensure they did. Jeodan got up and walked to the door when Ward grabbed hold of his arm.
"Where do you think you are going? There is still a lot to be done, we haven't even gotten to the Scion." Ward said confused.
"I've spread the message and everybody is free to go their on their own accord. A few sientist have already left with a few hundred other people. They should signal back if they find anything we could use. Tell the humans to jump my ship and the ships surrounding mine to Nordok Prime when I get back into space." Jeodan replied in a light harted voice.
"But..."

Jeodan janked his arm out of Wards hand and then went on his way. Within the fifteen minutes he had arrived near Nordok prime and waited.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Re: Space: The Third Story.

"Sir! Unidentified incoming ships! On the fringe of the system, too far to make accurate scans, but we can hail them Sir." An Officer said loudly in the command room. Garrus walked over and looked at the screen over the officer's shoulder.

"Hail them, also get me a squadron of cruisers ready for combat. Arm half a dozen missiles on the first moon, its closer to where a battle would most likely take palce out there.

"Sir, they've responded to the hail. Its a group of Cy'tan ships, Jeodan Deathsquad is on board the flagship." Garrus spun around as the officer said that.

"Recall all the cruisers, disarm the missiles and open a communications channel to the Cy'tan flagship." The officer looked confused. "Jeodan wouldn't be here to fight us, he's either here because the Alliance sent him in, or he wants to speak with me. Now get that channel up!" Garrus said sternly and walked to his command chair, sitting down just as Jeodan's face appeared on his screen.

"Hello, Jeodan. It's been a while, how can I help you?" Garrus said with a small smile.
