Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

What humans are fighting each other in space? The fight I had was over in about a minute, maybe less... it wasn't a major battle, it was two ships going 'BOOM' tongue

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

Q. Was Talos a spelling mistake for Talus or is it just the name of an area? (Skywarp)

A. Well to smooze it a little, I suppose, Nai would know the present Talus from a previous long lost historical age, and the language  and thus it's spelling evolved. But the true answer is yes, it was intended to be Talus(-ian?) Space..

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

I was just curious, no Inquisition was invovled (yet...) and it would be Talon Space for future reference, or if you want to go back and edit, but persoanlly it doesnt matter that much to me tongue

I saw a battle and responded. Cy'Tan ships enter orbit and then they will start rescue operations so no biggy:p.

I've taken some liberty with Jeodan to give him a reason to be idle for a time, but also convey some of the intent and help expose some the "why" the Overseers have here in this place. When he returns, he'll be in fine shape to re-enter the story arc without being "out of touch" with the events.

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

><

Nai its Talus tongue Its just for certain things you change it to Talon... like you wouldn't say its an America Citizen, you'd say American Citizen...

Personally I think it'd be easier just to use Talus for everything to minimize confusion, but thats up to you lol (and i do realise this is kinda hypocratic)

And the Talus may be friends with the UEF, but if they were going to be terra forming planets, it'd be for the Talus Empire not for the UEF... unless the UEF gave them something as a deal

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

You'll note the terraforming vessel was UEF-53... of the 150 or so found.. so, it would not be unexpected that some deal was arranged in the background.

Yes, some of us started as 'commanders' and earned our ranks through heroic and bold moves, and for some strange reason not dying... permenantly.

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

Sorry if all my moving about was a bit confusing, I'll have to try and cut that down for future use >< But the battle took place in orbit over Locus Prime, shortly after Garrus left the Kalnoky System.

Soory, once again, for confusion to due to me liking to jump around to places tongue

Ah.. so I'll edit the battle to locus..

from how it read, it appeared you went from Kalnoky after locus.. not the other way around..

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

Skywarp, are you saying that you have vacinated everyone of your army? And i'm not really sure how you can vaccinate against something like that. I could understand you could make a counter agent that sucks all the bad particles out of the air but vaccination?

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

I was thinking of something like a shot they could take themselves.. muhc like an atrophine injection.

So, vaccination may not be the right word in this case..

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

Heh.. I think I just threw out some excitement for the Talus fleet.

Plus a chance to meld the Garrus story line together with my side of things.

OOC: their is an Inquisitor Frigate in the area which will neutralize the Darkones at some point. But my "observer" is there also to evaluate the Talus potential as well. The observer is a Dreamweaver, so, please note that there is likely some religious veiw of her vision as a celestial/angelic sort of being to your crew and characters.
