Excuse me but EXPERTS are quantified in experience beyond the norm. If I am called to court to testify on a security matter I am not protected like many from saying I do not know. I must give an answer. I am not capable of being given protections against a hostile attorney either. I am forced to answer all questions relating to security.

You totally underestimate the term expert. This is alike a Doctorate giving testimony. On Security I know few peers, and I can debate them all at the highest levels, and I can validate my points. In this case this is years of careful analysis, examination of stores theft patterns, of identifying certain neighborhoods and monitoring them, and other factors. This is beyond your ken.

I will not claim to be an expert in anything except security and nothing else. I do not have the skills, the self learning, the education, the knowledge on anything like I do on security.

I will claim to be knowledgeable about many things, but expert is to say 'Elite', 'Best of the Best', and 'Top Level'.

Meh it amazes me that you white people can't notice the system in which you built and the targets that it has in its sights. Myself again im african american (not black) a Certified Nursing Assistant and also a Student Nurse soon to be Registered Nurse. i usually wear XXXL White tee shirts and dicky shorts/pants with a fitted cap, ear ring, and chain (usually a dog tag). Now im highly educated, and know about plenty of things outside my field ... however would you call the way i dress inappropriate? And if so why, and why should that make me get bothered by the cops.

yes i would call that inappropriate. A majority of the small crimes that have been committed have been from people that wear the things you wear. Since you are a nursing student i am pretty sure you can afford to wear something more acceptable than that.

You are telling me that the cops and other people have no reason to judge you because of what you wear. The clothes you wear have been made ghetto/hood because a lot of people who commit crimes wear those clothes. It would be like saying what is wrong with wearing a white robe and a white mask? Do you also think you shouldnt judge what kind of person they are if they wear a white robe and mask?

Only thing I'd question is the chain; never understood the appeal personally.  Now I have no idea what dicky shorts/pants are so I can't comment on that.

Let me ask you this, if a woman stood on a corner dressed like a hooker would you be surprised if people assumed she's a hooker?  "Ghetto" style is associated with gang members and criminals this association is propogated through many sources; Actual Criminals (even if simply for lack of a better option), Popular hip hop artists dressing that way calling themselves "gangsta" and rapping about crimes they commit, etc.  Now if you choose to dress like that you accept the association that comes with it.  If I wear a suit and tie people will make certain assumptions about my income, education, etc. If I wear a plaid shirt and overalls people will make very different assumptions.  I'm not saying it's right, I'm not saying it's fair, but it's the way life is.  Like my father always told me, "Life sucks, get used to it."

So in Finland Army Surplus is only for Black people? How odd. In the UK anyone can go to an Army Surplus store, although the odd thing is it is mostly white people here that wear the dogtags, not black... hmm, I feel a social study coming on!

Gladiator is saying he did nothing wrong, and so should be treated as someone who's done nothing wrong regardless of his wear. He should therefore wear a white robe and mask and walk in the ghettos of Louisiana and expect to come out perfectly fine.

everyone is discriminated on, whether its whites an asians that get discriminated against while applying to colleges, or 2 Muslim ladies not being allowed to sit behind Obama during a rally in Detroit last month, or Blacks and Hispanics being racially profiled by police. it happens to everyone, dont act like you're special because it happened to you or because you saw it; its a way of life.
