no but, idk sometimes mods would talk with players before starts of rounds, in the past,

yes we are the blame for the faulty setup, i was meaning to post about this, but round started up before i got too.


Last Round-
8, 12 man fams?

at the end, 1 player from every team a least stopped playing.

2 teams had not even half full teams, and two other teams had about 2-4 players not there. (some more)

roughly 27 players gone, tongue

out of the say 90 players.
so 63 maybe 70 left

this round,

set up for 9 teams of 9  = 81 spots,

roughly 1 and maybe 1 1/2 extra teams for the space provided.

Players random and dont contribute. They wait for me to do stuff. No more participation except a few!

see last round i had 4 actives all others didnt talked or was inactive.

the problem is that i dont know what to do. Drafting wouldnt solve stuff to butt would make it more attractive for a few people to stay! Like: preselect a leader and a coleader for the family. They are supposed to get people participating. Atleast you have 2 actives per family then.

Maybe the game has to change. It is TOO much about activity. I want to play the game besides work. and that is hard to handel if you have people like devilz stay up whole night and be online 24/7. I guess many players got exactly that problem?

I have 1 idea

1. what about my leader is able to send his own fleet for my defense?
2. What if he have access to my production?

2. Players spend aid to family bank, leaders and VL can use it or distribute it.
OR
We add a function so that players can select a percentage from their own production going into family bank tick per tick?

1. I want that a whole family is able to defend one player. It need to cost a price. You have to pay more gc for it or your defencebonus will be reduced

shouldnt have been a shuffle.

Start res maybe should have been increased, along with expos, to compensate the lost player size. market maybe should of been enabled instead of increased start res and ES just to allow faster growth.

ITs going to be slow....how dredd.

Actually, there's no change to starting family size.  Infact, it's more this round.

Last round we started with 8 and increased it as the galaxy filled.

This round, we're doing the same except started with 9.

Dont whine about inactives,  all these pre selected leaders/self determined leaders are running the worst systems possible for this game.  You can not, I repeat can not keep forcing players to just send aid to one guy and wait his turn.  You the leaders are causing inactivity.  Be smart and return creativity to the individual players.  Leaders is a false term.  You should be merely guiding others and wed have a much improved game

last round we played in teams and everytime i logged into IC there was something to do.
For me it was the most active and entertaining round since years.

Should eliminate family aid for one round or at least charge a commission of 5-10% to send aid.

push start back till monda please? allow the galaxy to fill and people to settle and plan? as it stands only most fams have filled some today and yesterday, not leaving much time to co-ordinate

i wanted to do it players denied! But yes

Ic_spyro, cumsville netropolis played it mainly as you say. we just was involved and talked to get stuff done. No babysitter was needed!

well this game sucks because everyone wants to win and not to have fun.
i see only egoistic players, who don't care about making friendships, having fun, spend some time on this game.
they care only about winning. like someone cares very much about it.

yea there are players fault. they got IC at this point.
Orbit is right.....and some old vets know it.
who cared in round 6-7-8 who wins the round? we didn't had family bank, we had teams, and everyone was doing ok, friendships were made, it was fun.
now i read only "I AM THE BEST, I WON THE 1ST SPOT, I AM SUPERMAN, EVERYONE ELSE SUCKS" etc etc etc
geez guys this doesn't matter. you won't have a trophy on your desk for being the best. in 1 year nobody will know about your wins.

try to play for friendships, for making a comunity, for having fun.
yea, PP was right when he said : "We will have the family name "PFF (PLAY FOR FUN), because it is the last round we will have fun". and he was right. after all fall apart.

@Torqez stop asking the most active players from the game what is needed to improve. They got this game here with their ego and hunger for win. There are players (or was) who play for comunity, for friendships, for fun. Take a look at what they say!!

thats why galaxies like the origanal orion was fun, without morale and next to nothing networth rule it didnt matter how good the family was if you played like we play now days you would be picked apart and left vunerable. It was the players own ability and the friendship and comunication with the family that kept a family allive and made a family strong.

you're talking about the days when there were enough people around to support 3-4 galaxies to suit the 'play style' of everyone. so we had the casual galaxies thru to the hardcore galaxies

when PW was scrapped i was told to pull my head in and realise the game has changed and we dont have the numbers like the old days and play whats available.

so i'm telling you the same thing - pull your heads in, grow up and play the game as it is - or dont - in the final analysis its your choice.

i've only played SN - a single person family - since the demise of PW  and i've still managed to make new friends.

quit moaning - people are getting fed up 'listening' to it

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Arby, you are half wrong. You have Frenemies in IC. Some rounds u play with friends, some rounds you play against your friends. :-P
