tbh i havent read anything in the forum for the past 3 pages lol i just caught up.. first off i did not farm unicorns hell they are my only target.. i told mods several times at BOR.. over and over and over i shouted about the gal is unbalanced.. u dont have 13 players with leadership abilities atm..its just the truth.. 2 fams i saw this round had no leader no sort of setup or anything.. mods said they wouldnt close them cause it would inbalance the map or something.. which i think was stupid.. u had 12-14 players in those fams who had no leadership skills and of been shuffled around but was they nope.. their is no main problem with IC its just in honesty nobody wants admit that the only way this works is if u do large fams.. or u do like a sign up for leader.. however many leaders u get thats how many fams u get.. i also told mods about how small the gal is.. round ended as fast as it started.. tbh me and devilz knew we'd be 1 and 2.. nobody can really compete with the activity... thats the upside to having access to computers all day doesnt mean we dont have a life just i learned to mix checkin up constantly into my daily routine.. end of the day suck it up.. the round sucked i told u wat would happened and so far everything i said became true (galaxy too small, Families should of been closed off, not enough decent leader, round would be over by week 2).. even the community is screaming for larger fams

but i had idea that could solve the problems

i think the map needs to be bigger, 10-13 planets per system, if the map is really big, everyone is spread out, making it harder to farm early cause the attacker would be stuck with planets for 2 days if he was trying to pass them off. i remeber times where the map is more then one sectors, and i could stay in one sector of the map all round, and fend off bigger teams.

Icd agreed devilz agreed with point both made >>so make map bigger but also add radom team maker so like in WOW u join a dungeon someone who knows how to be leader  is picks leader and a fam is formed after that so its like putting names in a hat once leader is picked so u have amount of players who will be playing and amount of leaders who will lead the fams then bang decide on how many in each fam and randomize

The mods are only doing stuff for players - we're players ourselves.  Getting pretty sick of the thought that Mods don't listen to players.

Hell, even when we make official posts like this where we ask for Feedback on stats and stuff, noone responds.  It's a surprise really the Mods still do what they do.

well hell it takes days to get to talk to one of u most of the time.. u guys are usually ask and i was being polite when i said 9-10.. shit we need like 12 players per fam or something. u dont have 13 leaders nor 10 maybe 8 at the most if i was being modest.. u make fams so small the leaders remaining cant keep the medicore players moviated cause they random in fams with no leader or a leader who has no skills leading no diplo or eco.. u ask any player whose played with me i've trained talked adjusted my time and avaliability to help them out.. i dont bash them or anything i simply give them pep talks and show them how to do it better.. ask any of them.. im sure devilz is doing the same thing and ukwarchild probably is also.. xelus is a decent leader possibility u need to setup a leader thread and run it like that so atleast u have decent skilled leaders teaching our newer players (what lil we have) and keeping the medicore players active and wanting to play.. if u hadnt notice majority of players leaving are the medicore ones.. keeping them active is key to bringing back life sorta to IC

torqez, we are just trying to make it better, im not mad about the current set up,  just throwing out ideas, to make it better, seeing what is lacking or prolems with current round.

smaller issues effecting this round and we are seeing them play out,

the families would have worked, but due to multi accounts, and inactive at start, we added extra spot to all teams, where some people really needed to be removed,
( this has been brought up in the past, leader should be able to remove inactives 12-24 hours into the round.)
so with this, we got dead team, 10270. most teams only have 6-7 players with couple with 8.

hoilday round, not many people have time, so lack of activity across the board.

round is slower more then ever, with most of the leaders landed on my team or ICDs, so there goes spreading out the leaders.. tongue

we are all very thankful for the help you and the mod team do, although you guys mostly hear most of the BS we throw at you guys.

trying to work out some more kinkz to maybe bring bit of life back to the game,

Everytime you've come to me, you've demanded something new.  And i've told you to make a thread and gain support and Mods will look at it.  Right now, I see only 1 thread (and that too, from Devilz), and even that's got no conclusion.  So I don't really know what you're expecting.

The ICPG draft style leader thingy has been tried and done many times before.  Why do Mods have to organise it?  If there were capable players to organise it, then I'm sure Mods could look into it and be facilitators.  Last occurance, Render tried.  And even by his own admission, it failed miserably.

So yea - we're not unopposed to anything.  But we're not just going to randomly do stuff that will just have a lot of time and effort put into it, only for it to fail, yet again.  And one things for sure, we won't be having too many galaxies running in parallel (where people can play at the same time), because it breeds even more inactivity.

But yea, we want the game to succeed too - probably more than you all.

What Render tried failed due to registration was like 3-4 weeks before the actual round so activity's etc. changed

I've recently only returned this round so i can't say a huge deal about recent rounds, but from what i have mostly seen at the moment is the only and BIG downfall for this game is just the amount of active players that are left. My opinion is unless the active player base was drastically improved there is not a single thing the mods can do to change things.

Everytime i log in i think the most people i have seen online is 35, 35!!! How can you expect a game as big as this survive with these sorts of figures. Unless this game see's money pumped into it for advertising to get those new players into this game its going to just fall more and more. I played this game for about 5 years straight, i love every single round, winning fam or losing fam. But as the years went by more and more players left, and no one replaced them.

Its nice to see a few new players taking up the roles as being the top leaders (I must admit i thought i'd never see the day IC Death became one of them tongue) but apart from this, there is not a huge amount of people to learn from them and create their own families.

Torqez, PW 77 failed yes, but not misserably lol, my team won, but it was not easy at all. Like Forever says, even being a fail, everything that kame after has been krap, why?  bekause the setup of PW77 was perfekt for an interesting round, but sadly, like Mizzle says, the round started too late.

No mods involved in the setup, only Poley to kreate the gal parameters and you to plaze the players, and I thank you both for the efforts.
The meeting of leaders on irz to setup the teams was eksiting, but the problems started just there with Devilz refusing to play bekause he kould not be online at the time given when all the others kould. Some leaders had sent me a list of preferenzes in kase they kouldn't be online. 
When the round started, aktivities had zhanged, Lee warned he kouldn't be aktive all the round and so it happened, Kloud gave it up bekause his team resulted krap due to one key player deleting and joining another team (thing that never shoulda been allowed), Amspir vanished at midround and never got bak for rl issues, etz...

That's the problem, even now, that you kan gather a pak of ezperienzed leaders and setup a new IKPG style, but these leaders have a life, its not like in the old days anymore, when we had no responsibilities, the game is old, and so are the players.

I propose, for a future IKPG style round, to set the available leaders 1st of all, leaders that will be able to play all the round with dedikation, and then set the teams akkording to the available leaders.  If you kan only gather 5 leaders then you'll have to do a round of 5 big teams, any other thing, like IKDeath said, will fail.

Also I have to remind you all that PW77 was an urgenzy after the BDB (Big Destruktive Bug) that klosed all the running gals and kept the game in koma for a good while, while Torqez and Pie were trying to make the game stable again  (then later kame stefan and ruined it all but thats another story). PW77 kept players interested, and I managed to bring some old vets bak to the game, some of them stayed, tho most of them ran away when stefan removed the old map.


There is no urgenzy now, we have fresh meat now (in the best of senses), new players and returned that are willing to play something different than the kurrent 2 gals, and you have time to organize it and make it run right after teams are dezided, we have no serious threats now of dangerous bugs I guess tongue

MAY I ask how many leader capable players are there atm(at the moment)? and of those how many are willing to lead?

the game can take off sometimes all that is need is insensitive of some sort >>>add winner of rounds gets free vips for whole fam for 1 round or something like that


add a ranking system that keeps track of players and there finishes or leave fams together for more then 1 round so ppl get to know each other so many things can be done to add  new players  bc at the end of the day that's what is need fresh players who will come like the game and stick around

Asher there aren't many who want to lead. i admit i don't want to lead (because i have too much trust in others, and i fail everytime), but we could use a change.
bigger families, less fams per gal, and maybe a smaller map.
we have less than 20 days left and there aren't much to be done. expo faze will be over today, but the round is kinda over. ICD and Devilz will have their battle, in rest all is dead.
and a limit of naps could be done....there are some fams who liked to nap every fam they had a little war (30 planets gained.....geez)

good job to Devilz and ICD.
@others.....maybe next round activity will be more than this round
