Lee I never accused you, just was stating that based on your actions I wouldn't be surprised if you abused the bug. You broke a nap, went against your word, and abused the vmode bug, so I wouldn't find it a stretch to believe that you would also abuse another bug if it would give you an advantage.

ok, at this point (also note i didnt read the other thread much at all) i am going to go ahead and believe you tongue  i also agree that there should be some way of implementing that into the naps (have no idea if it would be hard) maybe ill put something up in ideas later today (about to head to work) so just maybe we (our alliance) wasnt as innocent as i assumed, but that does not change the fact that you had core violations and not handing them over.  which is usually reason to "void" a nap, your side was breaking it well before we did.  as far as i knew we were cancelling because of the violations, if that is indeed true, i still see us doing nothing too wrong anyways, we were voiding a nap (which is widly accepted) for your alliances unwillingness to fulfill your end of the bargain.

We had just gotten out of a war, I am not surprised we had a few core violations. I had planets in colo/hydros core as well, and I would have given them up just like I do every round I have any core violation planets. I still had like 150 planets I needed to shed from the war and I didn't hear anything from your alliance about core violations until Devilz posted about it a solid 12 hours after the nap was canceled.

Every round core violations are usually swapped right at the last second before the war starts, to break a NAP because of them is just a low move imo. The round where hellz and I warred Noirs fam, we had like 15 when we canceled but just traded out/removed defenses before the war started. We had a similar agreement with them with a pre-set cancelation date and that war was tons of fun! Imagine if they would had 'voided' the nap because of the core violations, that round would have been as terrible as this one.

Fact is, Lee was scared so he broke the NAP and tried to make excuses for it after the fact. Originally his excuse was that we were 'being mean to him in the forum' lol.

This is my whole problem with Devilz reasons. Also these core violations he speaks of couldn't have been very old as we had only just finished warring 4 days or so before, with another alliance, when Lee got mad & went back on his word of waiting until the last 14 days of the round & cancelled the nap, along with Devilz,  the reasons for cancellation being he didn't like how the 70/80 alliance were communicating with him on the forum.  So it just sounds to me like this was a rapidly made excuse to justify the nap break/cancellation after the fact.

If people don't know about it then you can't expect them to help solve the issue diplomatically if communication is lacking in the first place. As I already said we're not mind readers, no big flashing signs come up stating you're in violation of a core agreement automatically.

Oh & people may be peeved because of time & effort put into their rounds, this is no less true for a lot of us in the 70/80 alliance but that clearly didn't matter to Lee or Devilz.
