Die to stop gun ban. So funny. Do you guys still ride horses and assault caravans and stuff?
i would die for genesis <3
What's so funny about people wanting to remain free, Genesis? Is human freedom really so valueless to you? I guess you really wouldn't know.
We created a nation more free than any European nation is or has ever been. It's a shame that we're shackling back up and most of you never even got a taste of freedom. Your overlords tell you we're brutish and unadvanced. And you believe them. Clearly what fascists do in disarming their people is best for you! You're like a child, you can't protect yourself or your family!
Overlords. Someone has been playing too much Starcraft.
I feel alot more free if I know everyone else is not carrying a gun, somehow. It's probably my mistake.
Genesis,
In an ideal world, yeah. In the real world the government can not keep guns out of the hands of dedicated criminals.
Not entirely, but if you check statistics you will see there is a clear difference in gun related crime between countries who try and those who just cross their fingers. Not like this is anything new anyway
Why are you referencing "gun-related" crime? Isn't crime the problem?
When murders rise, but "gun-related" murders drop, you count that as success. Your metric is both dishonest and worthless in assessing policies' impacts on safety.
I think you should be more concerned with violent crime and less concerned with "gun-related" crime. I prefer policies under which people are safer. You prefer policies under which people are disarmed.
I am just as worried about knife, sword, bow, crossbow, bomb, firebomb, and blugeoning deaths.
in the movie Hook they killed the suspected traitor with a scorpion
I am just as worried about knife, sword, bow, crossbow, bomb, firebomb, and blugeoning deaths.
Sword? Bow? Crossbow?
I say, good sir! Pray tell, where is the privy?
Believe it or not my brother was doing evangelical work in Africa. His friend was robbed at bow point.
In the USA there has been a number of robberies and murders done by sword.
I just wonder why gun fanatics are so scared. There is a school shooting and instead of feeling sorrow or remorse, they have an apparent guilty conscience and are defensive. "Oh noooo der takin meh gunnzzz! If you take meh gunz da bad guy gonna come n shoot me!". Ignorance breeds fear, and you are a very frightful bunch.
Nobody is coming for your gun, you do not need to kill anyone who thinks it would be a good idea. You are relatively safe. Stop being such cowards and help make it harder for the mentally unstable to get access to guns. Our government can't even pass laws to keep ourselves from destroying our economy... how do you expect them to put forth legislation to ban all guns?
The only thing we can hope for is regulation... Get rid of assault weapons.. there is no need for a citizen to own these things... their only purpose is to kill a large amount of people in a short period of time. Close the gun show loop hole, where terrorists and the mentally unstable can purchase a gun with no background check.
Do something about the mental health of this country... if you are poor and mentally unstable, currently it is very hard for you to get proper treatment. However, there is a large group of this country that do not want to have to pay to help poor mentally ill people get treatment...
They don't even want to regulate insurance companies to require giving coverage for children with cancer because it could have been a pre existing condition...something they had before they obtained coverage. ...Effectively killing many more children than the crazed gunman did in Connecticut.
It is no wonder the world views us as a selfish spiteful country. ...but hey... we are "just bein' free"
pickle it isn't guilty conscience to react to gun grabbers when they pop up. And that's what you see, the reaction. It' snot spontaneous. It's provoked.
Yeah great, it wasn't the RIght who stopped putting the mentally ill in institutions. The probelm was that locked up they were being raped and starved regularly. It was more normal than not. And some people went so far as to say, "so what this person is paranoid, let him out, he can function with meds just fine" well he didn't take the meds, now what? Lock him up, right? "No no we are not that country, we love freedoms to imagine your own person".
If we can drop that and destroy abuse, I'm glad.
Schools should have disassembled .30 M1919 machine guns stowed in lockers for this type of scenario
because with tripod that is a 2 man weapon. No one guy is gonna set up a M1919 in less than 5 mins
however 2 or 3 teachers can get that up in a minute and then they will have more firepower than any looney toon
Or better how about not. Those bullets would go through 5 walls like swiss cheese..
Better full auto riot shotguns in 20 digit snap key card safes loaded with birdshot and the occassional standard buckshot
I approve of the dogs idea but if you skip training them not to attack the kids you can save $ printing hall passes
