Re: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

"FORWARD!!!" yelled a zealot captain, "AGAINST THE ENEMY! UP INTO THE UNREMITTING BATTLE! FOR AUIR!" other zealots raised there psy blades. The turned and charged the flood of zerg that massed toward them. The photon cannons released there cannons weaponry in an onslaught of fire.

The Super carrairs each powered there energy weapons to max and then released their payload onto the zerg, the zerg lings and hydralisks exploded with the contact of the energy of the super carriars. The archons that where massive energy creatures charged the line of the zerg with the zealots.

The dragoons attacked the sides of what could be found of the zerg. The high templars riddled the battlefield with psionic storms and hallucinations. Arbiters recalled constant swarms of zealots and dark templars with archons to the battle field. The flow of soldiers seemed never-ending. The scouts and corsairs covered the ground forces from guardians, devourers, queens and others.

Zeratul fought with the rest of his men, speaking through telephty becuase the surrounding sounds of battle was to great to speak by voice.

"Zeratul" spoke on of his men.

"yes?" he replied as he ended another zergs life.

"We think we can see the overmind." he responded, know that it sound like blasphemy.

"what? what do you mean?" zeratul returned to him.

"that rabilisk over there, it seems to be twice the size of a normal one and it moves different and is surrounded by ultralisks and other rabilisks."

"I see..." Zeratul responded, and then contacted Tarteris.

"tarteris, we have a problem the Overmind has manifested itself into a the form of a rabilisks, concrate the super carriars power against it so that we may have a chance of killing it."

"Understood" was his response.

The super carrairs aimed there weapons at the target, powered to max and began to release the weaponry upon it.

[You played SC right? Remember how it ended big lfashy ball of positive & negative energies from Tassadar? Ignore the internal Zerg strife, I'll take care of that u go crash a carrier into the Overmind with someone channeling the dark energies of the dark Protoss... Isn't Tassadar still around? Use him. I'm creating the internal Zerg strife as I have an idea for the next story. Similar to brood wars. So... the broods must be a waring so I'm setting it up. You make TUF happy and kill the Overmind.]

Tassadar sat at the helm of his Risen Carriar.

"what to do.." he asked himself. He then got the idea, he would do it. Alone. He contacted Zeratul on the ground.

"Zeratul, my friend, and my mentor, it is time that you led are people in the correct direction, I am asking you to do me a favour."

"Yes my freind" Zeratul responded without hesitation. "Anything"

"I am glad that you are willing." Tassader paused for a moment before continuing. "I ask that you and your dark templar brethren channel all of your enegry to the helm of my Risen Carriar I am going to spearhead the overmind"

"And bring the beast to Oblivion."

Zeratul was schocked, he was glad that Tassader would willingly and happily give his life for Auir and the sanctity of the Protoss race.

"Yes Tassader. I will do as you have asked me." Zeratul told his dark templars what to do. They followed without question, they had been with Zeratul for far to long to know that he did not want to do this but that he had to inorder to destory the overmind.

The helm of Tassadar's Risen Carriar began to glow a dark purple, as he added his own energies to it he began to glow faster, before become a solid light of energy. As he sent the carriar to the Overmind he sent the crew that was with him out of the Carrair.

He did not want anyone else to die. Just his life for the fate of the Universe. The front of the Carriar hit first. As it did the world seemed to stop. The Overmind knew he was going to die, in his rabilisk form he tried to scream out.

Something he didn't know how to do. And for the split second before impact the Overmind felt the same thing that he cause. Fear. Then suddenly the silence was broken and the world started to move again, the loud explosion that followed swallowed the battlefield in a mass of purplish energy.

Re: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

I am wondering

what was running alongside this?

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Re: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

There was an OOC that was mostly abandonded but one or 2 of the things that are being "answered" were probably asked in there.  I thought it was completely abandoned and so didn't store any of it and well, it's not part of the story. [If that's what you were asking]

Re: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

It was one of the many dead periods.  The story took over a year to complete so there were many other things.  I think Adam the last man, and that Apocalaplse story were the main ones I remember but again it was a hole year so there were tons more.

[What's the point of any story? Its for the writers and readers enjoyment. As I said just one page ago it pretty much is a moderately original story set in the Starcraft universe. I won't take much imagination to figure out the close parallels between this and SC and BWs. If you like it good , if you don't nobody's forcing you to read it . Also I kinda lied, still working for about another 1 1/2 hr. Then will write/post it when I go home.]

[Question Feb 5th, 07:44 GMT ]
For time truly did stop. The Overmind had in that instant learnt how to modify the steady flow of the stream of time. For only a brief moment, but when considering the enormity of the act stopping time is a great feat in and of itself. The cause is unknown. It could have stemmed from finally incorporating enough Protoss material and knowledge. It could have been released because of his experiences of the thrill of battle. Perhaps it was from the combined power of the great Protoss templar, the dark energies of the dark templars, and the Overmind being the focal point of all this power. Or perhaps it was as he later said because he cared for his prot

[Heaven, you can have the last post if you wish. Something about the Protoss deciding to resettle on the dark templar's homeworld. Don't make em actually leave yet though because I want to pick up the story with the majority of the Protoss still on Auir. Mostly like the first mission in BW . Well sir's, and in the slight chance that a madam reads this, that's it, all of it.  It's over.  Was almost as fun reposting as it was writing.  And it still took nearly one year to repost big_smile.  Conspiracy???
