[Question Jul 29th, 04:51 GMT ]
The swarm was arrayed as Malfurion desired and the newly completed devourers were in support for the mutalisks with the long range guardians intended to lead the charge. The first newly hatched batch of rabilisks was slightly out of range with a few defilers prepared to offer their plague for cover. These were supplemented by ultralisks and a mass of zerglings never before assembled. Due to their short incubation period Malfurion believed that their sheer numbers may just tip the battle. He wanted to wait before the attack but orders are orders and the Overmind was watching his every move so now wasn
[Heaven Bound Aug 6th, 22:44 GMT ]
Fenix and his group of elite Zealots where slicing and dicing everything that they encountered, but they too where taking losses, the rest of the zealots where attacking ravenously and they where even matched with the Zerglings.
The dragoons where soon brought in and were able to help the zealots and dark Templar's on the ground battle their enemies. The Archons where also in the fray, their massive energy waves where shattering multiple enemies at once. However Fenix had become surrounded, the rabiliskes had charged them and his forces where falling.
Zeratul made a charge at them and where almost able to save him. Fenix had impaled a rabiliskes with his psionic blades but another one got behind him, his body was ripped to pieces by the rabiliskes and then left on the ground.
The Scouts that where in command of Tassader launched their Antimatter missiles at the ground, something they normally didn't do. The missiles crashed into the ground and started devouring the Zerg and enemy terrain alike.
Zeratul shook Fenix's death from his mind and continued fighting the enemy as he was trained to do. Tarteris stood at the Helm of Arch-Sol. He was commanding the other carriers here and they where finally able to recall them to the front.
As they did they where dropped almost directly into the fray. Their intercepts where instantly called out. They flew around, their upgrades where every good.
They where also upon reaching critical condition able to fly directly at the enemy and explode upon impact, the blast radius at least 5 meters.
The Terran that where on the Protoss side where also holding their own reasonably well. The Protoss Templar's where using their mind powers like crazy.
Their where massive psionic storms over the battle field. The Dark Archons where draining the wraiths and battleships of energy and halting what they could for enemies with maelstion.
The Reavers where also in lines slamming the ground forces reasonably well. They where easily bloodied by the massive blasts from the sacarbs that exploded and sent hot plasma everywhere. This battle was truly the fight that would change the fate of Humanity, and the fate of the Universe.

[Question Sep 2nd, 02:09 GMT ]
The Overmind began to take notice of the battle and was not pleased with what he was surveying. He took an account of the remaining zerg forced and was shocked to notice that they merely outnumbered those of the protoss 2 to 1. He contacted Malfurion directly in what could be described as a mental shout. Malfurion who also was focused on the battle that he was unwilling to participate in was shocked by the force of the Overmind

Tarteris was fighting the air battle with the last of his men, the guardians had been removed by the corsairs, they where amazingly good at fighting in the air, although they could not target ground enemies. The Terran siege tanks that the remaining Terran's had been using where going somewhat well until the queens started hatching broodlings, then those tanks where metal death traps.
The Dark Templar's had found the remnants of Fenix's body and brought it back to the compound where it was covered up. They then went back into the battle with Zeratul. The Archons where emitting every bit of psionic energy that they had to use and where still barely able to hold back the overwhelming Zerg.
The Suddenly threat of nuclear bombardment was shocking to the protoss and Terran alike, how could they have gotten ghost these close again? No matter the science vessels where dealing with them, but still, then complex was still targeted, and that was not good. The few ghost that now remained where still visible, but being surrounded by the Zerglings and hydralisks to shield them from assault, also at this time the Ultralisks charged the complex with reckless abandonment.
They where going to draw attention and then make it so that the protoss did not try to kill the ghosts, which worked somewhat well. A few of the ghost where killed by psionic storms that ripped apart their bodies, but a few survived and that was bad, suddenly one nuclear missile dropped, and then two more, luckily they where off target slightly, and the center of the compound was still intact, but the walls and ramparts where horribly massacred.
The Super Carriers unleashed every bit of power that they had, the scouts also unleashed in waves their antimatter missiles upon the enemy. But for all their efforts the Zerg still managed to get into the compound, and that was not good. The archons that where stationed in the complex fought savagely and the Templar's mass-hallucinated them so the Zerglings seemed to be fighting their own numbers.
The Dark Archons used maelstrom to contain the ultralisks and tougher enemies, and then dragoons and zealots would team up on them. Damaged or dying scouts would purposely crash into the enemy, fighting to the last breathe to secure victory. This was indeed the battle to end all battles.

Zeratul and the remaining hero's from the batle cleaned an area and buried the dead, directly in the center of the bodies was Fenix, the proud warrior was laid with his arms across his chest and his body cleared of the horrible marks the Ultralisks has given him.
Tassader and Tarteris where standing at the helm of the Super Carriar and where disscusing what they would do when the Overmind returned, for never had the overmind felt such faluire. "If we completly seal off the damaged complex with Photoncannons we can just hold tight!" offered Tateris, but Tassadar revoked the idea, "The pylons will be targeted and we don't have the resources, I fear we may have to flee."
"Nonsense" spoke Zeratul, "We will simply dig in tightly, wait for the enemy and then battle them, my Dark templars will secure the area Arbiters will sheild us from site and carriars will mass in the skies, it will be the best way to go."
"You think we will die?" asked Tarteris, "I am not entirly sure, but yes I beleive we will die, and beacause of that I believe we should take are planet with us." replied Zeratul.

[Question Oct 9th, 23:57 GMT]
He walked down what once must have been one of the most architecturally glorious structures anywhere, by any civilization in the entire galaxy. He looked at the now bloodstained golden hallways that shone with their own internal light. The main entrance consisted of a spiral staircase splitting organically on each of the floors. The Hall of the Judicators was the supreme nexus of Protoss power. From here all legal, military and public policy decisions were made here. This was the last stand of a great civilization and for a moment Malfurion wondered about his hand in these events. Had he made the right choice? Was his subjugation under the Overmind where he wanted to be? Was his revenge turning sour and had he lost too much? He decided finally that there was no return place or reason to return. His only place to remain was with the swarm.
Darius, Malfurion

Zeratul and Tassader both looked forward to Prothates. They saw the massive 'Overmind' in its entirety, and they did not back away. They knew that their destruction would come. And they would fight. And they would die, and then Auir would be destroyed and with it would be the Overmind, and the swarm. Tassader walked to Fenix's grave. No reconstruction this time for him, his body had been mutilated beyond recognition, the only reason that Tassader had known that it was him was because of watching him be butchered.
Although the fact that his dear friend had died was very troubling to him he did not let it effect him. Fenix had died once before and this was no different killed fighting for Auir, the death of every Kahli Warrior would want.
Tarteris stood between a Zealot and a Dark Templar, obviously in a argument of an unknown issue.
"They are cowards!" yelled the Zealot at the Dark Templar, "They stay cloaked in battle and do not strike at the enemies with us like brothers."
"We are no cowards" replied the Dark Templar warrior, "we fight as much as you do, and because we fight smarter doesn't mean that we are weaker."
"Don't back mouth me!" the Zealot armed his plasma blades and the Dark Templar did the same.
"STOP!" Came Zeratul's voice from a platform. "Although we strike from the shadows do not think we don't have the courage to stand and face are enemies in the light!" he spoke, everyone looking at him. "We are all going to die" he spoke seriously, "Perhaps we will survive this battle and those that do will hopefully rebuild the once Great Auir and rebuild the Protoss population."
"But we need to stand together, although we strike the enemy in different ways we still kill the enemy as one, do we not?" he paused and waited if anything would arise to conjunct his speaking. Nothing did, the silence of the compound made all of the warriors reflect there own judgement of each other and they then banished there hatred, for one day, for one fight they would fight as one. They would no longer attack each other and belittle each other, after all Auir was the home for all of them.
They returned to there posts and then reavers were set up for attack. Arbiters where stationed and Terran bunkers as well as Protoss Photon Cannons were defended and armed. Observers population the mass of Protoss defenses and even close enough to were the Overmind was, not in the vicinity of course, but close enough to see what they where doing.
Carriers where armed to the max with Interceptors and shield's. Scouts and Corsairs where stationed all around to help defend re avers and ground units. Archons lined the Front lines, their fearless attitudes, their one track minds made them almost super-soldiers. Dark Archons where near the last line, there mind control ready to turn Zerg against Zerg, and High Templar's ready to storm the ground attack forces.

[Question Dec 6th, 01:37 GMT ]
[Just a joke to keep you happy for the week or so that it will take me to be able to write the next part of the real story]
The Overmind contorts himself into humaniod form and walks straight into the Protoss compound. All weapons are fired upon him to no effect. He walks straight towards the Protoss leaders. Zeratul rushes him and actually manages to cut him. The Overmind was unfamilure with this feeling he was having. Something like pain... that must be it he was feeling pain from Zeratul's attack. Zeratul himself thought he was prepared for direct contact with the Overmind but the flood of a large percentage of the entirity of the information collected over the ages by the Xel'Naga placed him into shock. The Overmind cast him away as the insignificant bug he was. He walked straight towards his target Tassader.
He grabbed the 20 foot protoss and held him 5 feet off the ground. He said, "did Fenix ever tell you what happened to your father?"
Tassader said, "He told me enough!"
"What did he tell you?"
"He said you killed him!"
"Well he was right in a manner. Tassader, I'm you father."
"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo" screamed Tassader as he knew in his mind it was all true.
