I am introducing a modification to the normal Contenders and Pretenders. I am adding "Farms" to the category where the fam just has no chance, wont have a chance, and should focus on team building and riding out the round.

They have pulled off a daring long distance raid, twice hitting the top fam for a hundred plus planet (thats actually a significant amount now). They have got to have some serious bomber fleets and an obvious willingness to use it. I think if they do nap mods they will be going hardcore for planets off someone else. Contenders top 4

Sitting with a big attacker at the top, and four rev bankers... they have a good econ. Planet count is distributed well. Activity seems decent. Contender top 5

With Alexander leading, and Flint ecowhoring, this fam has risen from 9th to 5th and keeps climbing. Bad luck at bor (5 inactives killed so far), a banker who got aided to make explorers 2nd day and did not for 3 days (yes you Melvin X( ) kept us from being in top 4 from the start. Contenders top 3

A family with many border conflicts with 31 and 34, they have been losing a lot of the fights. I think they will eventually defeat 31 and gain some strategic position. Contender top 5 for now.

One camaar as top dog attacker? Owie. No backup ops? Double owie. Cornered by 35, 33, and 34? Instant Pretender Status unless they can own 41 and 32, land a decent custom attacker, and get some breathing space. Pretender

These guys are packing 3 pax oppers and a 4th joiner. Personally I respect that. I think they are a Pretender, but they are not going to be an easy to farm pretender.

This family is the largest of the farm status families. Their position is glorious, but all top fams will want to enter this region and will use 32 as a stepping stone to get there. Sorry guys... Farm

With a NW so low the top 5 cannot even glance their way... the top 6 to 9th will be farming them to make up for lost planets. Farm

Evidence that bad things happen to those who op early. These guys got 1 estorm through on 34's pop starter. Alexander kicked their teeth in, started a portal and lasered up and they folded like a limp paper towel.  After that they never had a chance to regroup and they fell apart. Pro note... if your fam has a rogue opper... Mark him rogue before the big boys come with their boots on. 

Amazingly tho they currently have 3 decent players including Venom and DroidsDK. I dont see those guys staying for long, but who knows.  FARM FARM FARM

All of them flint they did not hit us twice for a hundred planets nor are they going to nap us.

I will concede they got a few dozen planets in installments spread out over several ticks though.

what i want to point out is how new accounts are being formed everyday and yet they delete right away after joining the fam. multis?
