I intended only to post this idea as i see some advantages in not beign to able your empire names you use. That is very different then your rl information adn i think privacy isn't an issue in that.

Also there are clear disadvantages also as indeed if you decide to do a very aggressive round, there might be people who have grudges and start hunting you through round.

With current system, people can hide after they did 'wrong' (not against rules, but against honour, fp things).

If you had a known empires system people could hunt certain people down each and every round wich would be in the same way 'wrong'.

If better players get a bit of a stigma wouldn't be 'wrong' as high trees catches lot of wind

So in the end it is lke all changes possible, good and bad side on it.  But only posted it here as i thought it could contribute on making ic better.
