One day the queen was in the throne room with the Joker. She tripped and fell flat on her face. She was really ebarrassed so she said don't tell ANYONE until you see me again. The queen didn't come out or do anything in the fear of people knowing she tripped. Residents were asking where she was and the Joker didn't say anything until a man bribed him with money. When the queen saw the Joker again she said "I told you not to tell anybody until you saw me again!" "But I did see you." replied the Joker. How is this possible?
AH!

Four members of a band are walking to a night concert. They decide to take a shortcut, but must cross a bridge. Luckily they have one flashlight. Because of the varying size of their instruments, it takes each member a different amount of time to cross the bridge - it takes the first person one minute, the second person two minutes, the third person five minutes and the fourth person ten minutes. They must cross the bridge in pairs, traveling at the slower speed so if the one minute person went with the ten minute person, it would take a total of ten minutes. Since there is only one flashlight, one person must come back across the bridge, then another pair can cross. They only have 17 minutes to cross the bridge and still get to the concert on time. What order should they cross to get everyone across and get to the concert?
I am going to say 10 minutes. They all cross together, but in doubles (1 pair in front, 1 in the back)?
can't be done as described since there have to be 3 crossings and 2 return trips.
1min plus 10 min Min 10
1 back Min 11
1min plus 5min Min 16
1 back Min 17
1min + 2min Min 19
to make it there has to be one journey of 3 people not a pair.
5 + 10 go across the bridge = 10 mins
Because the return person no longer needs to carry his instrument back across, it onlly takes 1 minute to go back
Return + 2 = 2 mins (total of 13 mins)
1 minute return
Return + 1 = 1 (total of 15 minutes)
but it says the first pair is 1 and 10
ah no lol, its just an example, damn
then its easy
boo thbbppt.
1+2 go first then 1 comes back. 5+10 go next. 2 goes back to get 1.
2+1+10+2+2=17
