erm, i don't see how you can say croatia, germany and portugal are way better than holland

croatia and germany both play quite crappy, both one really lousy match, and to very poor opponents
holland played 1 awesome match, and 1 good match, against two of the best sides in the world.

as for portugal, in all reality it's ronaldo, deco, and 9 others that hardly have any value

Portugal had an easy group, they've been lucky to have Swizerland (the weakest team), Turkey (one of the weakest) and Czech with them. Czech who lost most of their strength cause of Pavel Nedved leaving. We've seen Portugal playing awesome matches and the "disaster" game against the Netherlands 2 years ago.

Croatia is a dangerous outsider, they stopped England from playing the Euro2008 and made it hard for Germany to stay in the match. Austria has way more potential than Poland to continue to the next round.

The Netherlands, came out of nothing, a few weeks ago they had a draw against Denemark. Now they've beaten no1 and no2 of the world. I hope Romania goes through as second but think that France will win eventually.

Spain had the best score after the first match, but is Russia really that good? Russia luckily qualified for the Euro2008 and are certainly not ready for topp-class football. Sweden, who played against the White Walls of Greece was the most boring game I've seen so far. But still, Sweden has qualities Spain will underestimate.

OMG i just read your post Joor, do you really think spain wil be beat by switzerland..if anything it will be a tie, c'mon switzerland is not good enough for spain, they will qualify and possibly have a chance . but no way are they guna beat spain or be first in the group

Sweden is old, so are many teams btw, like france and now even italy have to depend on the likes of delpiero. I mean spain, the netherlands, portugal and croatia actually bring the best football. And from those teams I only see Spain and the netherlands doing really well and I give them 9 so far(allthough it will be easier to rate the teams after match 3) Portugal is good very good even, but once they are in front they lack focus and [] it up. Croatia is the underdog and also has a cup reputation, bit like italy. So it will be tight for the win.

I just want to say the way the groups are made are really crap, A-B and C-D first have to decide amoungst themselves who is the best then only can they face a team from theo ther side of the table+ The groups aren't devided well exmple: group C the netherlands and roumania where the number 1 and 2 in their qualifying group and same for france and italy. And now they are placed in the same group. So its a crap draw.
Also want to point out the general quality of the referees is pretty poor .

but to be fair, it's hard to always give the right call, but generally calls should go to the offensive side, like italy's goal if you're not sure it would usually and it should go to the offence and the goal should count, and france should've been given a penalty for the hand ball by the dutch

de bleeckere did a good job, but he sometimes tends to be camera-horny, or how do you say it i mean: he usually is more strickt for "famous" : like players, but also big teams. I think he sometimes wants to be knows as: "wow, that guy dares something..." but he overdoes it sometimes!!! (his last match in ek was good though, nothing to say about him there )
