Wayyy was not gonna play this round and was just hiding at the bottom of #59 fam but considering these circumstances i have decided to help #59 fight this war....#47 lost alot of portalls to myself today and there camaar still has some key portalls i am un-able to break as of yet but soon i can see the war becoming more interesting just shame i started war late and with no spread but hey ill always help in situations like this......Matthang..

My view on the matter (as somewhat of an outsider!):

- 42/60 were gonna rape 47/59

47 might have been able to hold their own, but 59 was gonna get pummelled.  Yes it's fine to have all the "macho" approach and say you're not going to pay planets, but that's one sided.  Your allies would have gotten raped and eventually 42/60 would have prolly taken you down.
42/60 offered 20 planets for a NAP.  This was a great offer and to help your allies and yourself, you could have taken it.  Orbit was too stubborn and refused.  Because Orbit never pays planets for a nap.

59 agreed to pay 42/60 100 planets for a nap, so their alliance could live to see another day.  Orbit thought he was getting a NAP for free (http://www.imperialconflict.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=1321452#p1321452 - Pay special attention to "lol whOrbit thinks we got nothing out of it but he doesnt know a secret i know lmao").

Without the nap with 52/60 - 47 wouldn't have been able to fight Baratheon or whoever.


- 42/60 Cancels on 47
Yes, they cancelled a 2v2 NAP.  Orbit had the option of once again saving his allies and keeping them out of it.  42 and 60 both said they'd withdraw on 59 and 60 would not hit 47 either.  So they could make it a 1v1, 42 vs 47.

But once again, Orbit in his egotistical way, wanted everyone involved. He could have just fought like he wanted to in the first place and re-instated NAP with 60.  Yes, it was  2v2 Alliance NAP that was cancelled.  But nothing stopped Orbit making a new nap with 60 so that it would have been a 1v1.  Selfish once again.  He obviously also knew how much savings allies had, and could have asked for Market Aid, rather than have them fight as cripples with no decent attackers.


...and now, after all that had settled - Orbit is raping their own allies.  Pretty sad really.

Not surprising I guess, since Orbit and Tryme are in the fam.

But not something I would have expected from Tobi, Dimpel, Pitbull and Tsunami - 4 players in IC I rate really highly.

Orbit has been very stuborn this round it's true, first when he prefered to be raided 2 more days rather than giving 20 plts, then when he refused to do a 1vs1 where he had his chances (and it has been proved since 42 took no plt when 60 smashed them).

But I have to say that if my ally would pnap an alliance few ticks before a war and im stuck with them with this new stupid rule, I would have some murder temptations...
After all it's a war game, and deserters during wars were executed in old days...let's say that 47 is old school...

Reputation is made round after rounds and too many players just give up when they see a bigger nw fam coming.
U just have to knock at their door and they give u all their belongs without fighting.
Not saying that killing his ally is good but i guess I know why they do it. No need to try to knock at their door next rounds for free gifts, and if u ally them u better stick with them...

Nope, from this perspective, it's all about what "Orbit wants" - he's never taken into consideration what his ally wants/needs.  And just cos they didn't agree with him, he's decided to attack them?

Unlike yourself, I can't see why they did it.

When the first war happend:
42/60 vs 59/47
59 Wanted to NAP, Orbit wanted to fight.  So they Fought.

The second time around, he wanted a 2v2.  So it went to 2v2.

Never once did he consider what was good for the alliance - only what was good for the fam.  And in a galaxy that has permanent allies, the only way to play is side by side.  Doesn't matter if you don't see eye-to-eye on every thing, but you should still support each other. 

Orbit just didn't get his way, and now he's taking it out on his allies.


...relate it to you guys cancelling the NAP.  Spam said they didn't want it.  But did they turn around and backstab you?  No - and neither should Orbit.

I thinks a little different. We didn't want to fight them again cause we thought it was unfair, but Kollop said it was all going forward and we just went with whatever they wanted. The NAP had already been cancelled and so there was no way we could just sit on ass, cause i know 47 would have attacked us anyways. I few rounds ago, I ended up getting dumped as an ally because we got raided early on. We managed to come back and finish third, but the only motivation for the round was to get back at our ex-allies because they hung us our to dry. So I can see where Orbit is coming from. Should always communicate with your ally, even if you don't agree, and work together. Was pretty silly seeing 59 paying planets so we would stop attacking 47. As soon as the deal was made I knew it wouldn't be kept a secret for long and now this happens.

I would have been pissed at the things 59 had done to 47 this round. I think the worse part was when 59 NAPed us(42/60) this last time we cancelled. If What you say is true Torqez than, that everything has happened because Orbit wants it, how come he hasnt gotten his way than? seems more like 59 has done what they wanted, paying the 100 planets to get the NAP with us and than PNAPing us before war even started. I think 47 has shown balls this round, the only fam who fought back so far...they could have been really annoying if 59 backed up Orbit alittle bit. I kinda understand where Orbit gets his anger from, even though I would personally not attack an allie.

#59 had no active attackers at this time....so back up #47 with bankers....i think not and opps would not have done anuff to change the outcome......Only reason #59 got an attacker now is i dont like allies turning on each other so thought if #47 want a war against a fam of bankers ill change that and atleast #59 can fight back....

Looks like orbits fam starting to loose now.... #5347 have already asked #5359 for a NAP that was declined on the basis that #5347 are un-honourable.....Now orbits fleet is killed wilst mine is still prime it looks like a easy ride from here out.....every portall i kill Orbit looses 90k ground and so soon he will be too far to mount a decent attck on us....Spooning looses war by looks of things...

the lesson i learnt was that your an idiot and failed.....

all you did was get people to stop bing inactive, and once we have killed you and the people helping you then we can go back to being inactive waiting for this round to FINALLY end.

Hmmm what lesson did i learn from this......Ah i learn that if u dont help out your allies they turn on u and u gain a heap of planets smile Thanks and can i allie u guys every round plz?? Also what happened was not to do with me i was not plying in MW this round as was leading in PW and was not gonna be as active as i normally am.....But decided to play just cause the fam im playing in does not have much attacking power so thought i would help considering.....U have only annoyed people and u have only helped #59 out at EOR and so only fam loosing out is yours in long run...

I am happy to lose if you fight well.  But i only wish you had fought before when we needed your help, and not only when you are forced into it.
