Actually no, if you were caught being gay in the military you were given a General discharge or if you were a marine, Dishonorable discharge.  It depended on the local JAG office, and NO, not all Judge Advocate Generals were equal on gay discharges they gave the soldiers.  It was either general discharge, or dishonorable.  Lieing on the OFFICIAL form, "Are you gay." when you joined up is a strict no no.  And just lieing on the form can give you a dishonorable any day of the week.

No, you get a Honorable discharge, after you have fulfilled your full term of service by contract.

Einstein, if you are running for state representative, you might as well tell us who you are, some evidence that you are running, else this interview is pointless.  For all I know, you could just be playing a prank.  If you want to be taken seriously, provide link to your campaign website.  You do have a campaign website, don't you?

Okay, xeno... now you're clearly just trolling.  If you want this to be a real discussion, I suggest you return to what issues you want to discuss, and save the Flintstones jokes for the General forums.



I've actually looked into the matter, and have found evidence that Flint is definitely running for office.  I won't be posting it here without his permission, though, since my evidence would inadvertently reveal personal information in violation of the forum rules (it may be a rule violation.  I've actually asked the mods about this particular question).  For now, though... the best I can do is provide my assurance that, from the evidence a third party has found, he's running (in this particular context, I'm an unbiased party, since according to the speculation that he isn't actually running, I would have no incentive to go to bat for him).

I actually employ Zarf so I dunno if he can be considered neutral.

But I see Xeno is clearly trolling for quite the while.

I give Zarf permission (and others who find out are limited to this permission) to talk on IRC of his proof which is easily obtainable.

This may sound odd, but in this context, I would be neutral.  Here's why:

If you weren't actually running, there's absolutely no reason why you would be employing me to write speeches for you... when you aren't actually using them.  It's just a waste of money that would need to come from your pocket just to get someone else to claim you're running... not that great a plan.  So if his argument is that you aren't running, it would be illogical for him to argue that you're paying me... and thus, in the world where he's right and you're not running... I'm neutral, because I'm not employed by you.  So for his argument to be true, he's forced to accept my neutrality as a prerequisite to his argument.  tongue

But if you are running, my bias would be irrelevant to the matter.
