And since you brought it up... I am not the one whining. The rules for the galaxy are set at BoR and we all knew what they were. I played by them, and was doing decently, as was my family. If you don't like those rules you are free to delete/go inactive as you wish and spend more time on your MW or SD accounts, or even enjoy real life... but don't call me a whiner when others were the ones complaining about the parameters of the round and whined until mods held a vote.  If you don't like the parameters of a certain galaxy... no one is holding a gun to your head to play in it. enough said.

another shit decision, i wonder what mod was in #99 and we can all see some of the [stupid_waffles] that voted no, we all knew it was 30 man fams and yet u all joined, if u wanted smaller fams [waffles are mad] and dont join wankers im gone

I don't like the setup but you've got a point. ... its not cuz you don't like setup that you should vote no. Thats a shitty decision ... of the players. Now, I'm not crazy with numbers, but of the people that voted only 17 don't care.  I'm no math genius, but I don't think that constitutes the majority.  If I had to guess, which I don't because I have asked, those that didn't vote neglected because they stopped logging into PW days ago and never even saw that there was a poll.

I am actually in 99, and I am the only mod in 99, and I am also the one that promoted a galaxy of to this type.  I thought it would be fun to change things up a bit for once, but as we have seen recently with the idea of koth change is something IC players only like to talk about.  There are countless threads in this forum complaining about how the game has become stagnant and how changes are needed to spice it up, yet whenever we do something to mix up gameplay people complain about that as well.

i think you are only partly right here. yes players would like changes but the past should let people know loud and clear that true blue PW players would prefer PW to be left alone with some changes to enhance what was already there. i'm sure an experimental galaxy would be a nice idea for people to try new things, its good that different ways of playing IC are being offered for those that wish to try it out.
i personally feel that PW should not be the experimental galaxy

i agree 100% with what undeath says.  first people whine that things are stale and ask for changes to be made and galaxys to have some different ways of play.  then when the mods do what we as a community ask, try to spice it up, change some things to make it different, all they get is shit from assholes who just have to whine to hear themselves talk, and be the alpha person. 

now do i agree that all changes are good, and none bad, no of course not.  we will not know until we TRY them.  i for one applaud what the mods are doing and trying to do. some things are not working as good as they might have seemed in the idea block, but they are trying and all the communtiy seems to do is kick them in the face for trying.  i am still 100% shocked that we have mods left after how we treat them.

furthermore, i think that when the votes were tallied that that should have been it.  we (as a whole) voted to close it, there should be no discussion, no debate, no warning, just a simple "ok the votes said this, galaxy closed" that would also save us 3 pages of whining about it. well not save exactly, but it would be 3 pages of whining about something different wink

Plus, its too early to know if this round is a fail or not.  The action is just starting to pick up.  Its been less than a week and people are saying the galaxy isn't working, but you won't know for sure unless you see it through to atleast 60-70% of the round.

Also, a lot of people put in time to get their fams organized, only to have it go to waste.  Plus, the way the mods worded the vote was incorrect.  It should have clearly stated "do you want to end the current round in the next week and remake PW with 10 man fams".  Instead it asked do you want to remake PW with 10 man fams.  There was nothing in there about ending it early.  Mods should do another vote before closing it.
