Re: The Horde Invasion

The war drums could be heard for miles, rumbling over the hills and through the forest. War was coming and soon the land would be struck with a torrential downfall of blood from the slain men and women. Yes, even the innocent would die in this battle. The Horde lands had been infiltrated by a small army and soon many more would follow them to attack Home Base. Home base was a true sight as it prepared itself for war and yet still continued to grow and add to their lands. They had already been battle tested and had proven to be a mighty force to be reckoned with.

Attila stood on top of the hillside gazing down upon the valley that would be host to another battle.

Re: The Horde Invasion

In reference to the beginning of the war between #4409/4407 and 4408/4401

Looking at the layout of the empire, Attila saw a vast growth of cities and villages strewn out over the land. This was one of the largest empires on the continent and no doubt would be a true sight in the years to come. They had grown rapidly and it did not look as if they would slow down. Gold had been given to the citizens of the nation to expand and they had readily accepted the bribe to move and create new cities. Camps were turning into villages in the matter of days and into large sprawling cities in just months.

The watchman on the tower screamed the alarm. All work quickly stopped and the civilians could be seen running for cover. Soldiers quickly rushed to the armory to don their armor and grab weapons. They had not been warned of an invasion force and were caught off guard a new force was quickly crashing down onto their city. The watchman quickly made an assessment of who the attacking force was and passed the information off to the commander in charge of the city. The commander quickly commissioned a scout to report this attack to the State Leader HellRaizer who would then report it to Attila. The commander then formed his army at the main gate, placed his archers on the wall of the city and prepared for the battle that was at hand.

Be Active had gathered his troops together and then split them into twenty-one different raid parties. His goal was not to control the lands but to swiftly strike and destroy everything on them. He had planned this carefully and his scouts had given him solid information that would guarantee him victory in the following battles to come. He knew this would mean war between the nations but he had felt encroached by them and knew that if he did not act quickly that surely a strike would come on his lands. He gave each raid commander their assignments and watched as they assembled their men and moved out. He had coordinated this attack so that all parties would attack their targets at approximately the same time. He hoped this would leave the enemy nation in a state of shock and give him a chance to strike another blow before they could retaliate.

The archers fired as fast as they could string an arrow up at the raid party. They were getting closer to the city walls and the city commander knew if he could just strike down enough of the force that he could defend the city with the few troops left there for defense. The archers
