Anub, as you know I've been one of your family's major critics this round because I found your tactics dishonourable and felt they should be exposed.  I still feel that way.

However, I want to give credit where credit is due: the message that starts this thread, althiough it contains some things which are pretty debatable (specifically you guys throw the word "core' around way too easily), is the first decent quasi-factual attempt to give your side of the story in a non-insulting manner.  Had you done more of that earlier, your diploamcy probably wouldn't be in the tatters it is now.

Every family has to decide on its tactics, some enjoy the trashtalk, and to some extent honour will always be in the eye of the beholder.  Generally, you'll find other people will extend respect to the same degree to which you give it out.

Anyway, this is not an insult post.  We can debate aspects of your opening post, but it's a good posting, and sign of increased maturity.  So I can salute that, and if I am prepared to do that given what you guys did to my fam, you know you must ahve done something right.  So well done.
