1. Godwin's Law says that in any argument extended indefinitely, the Nazis will be mentioned.  It does not say the mentioner loses.

2.  the idea that the mentioner loses is an American idea because Americans invoke Nazism agaisnt other Americans which is silly.  You, however, are European. Just like the Nazis.

3.  the Nazis are bound to come up eventually because those guys thought there was a Nazi way to do everything from camping to the Olympics.  given time they'd have had cookbooks and "Nazi's Guide to Dating".  they put the Total in Totalitarian.

4. I wasn't referring to the 3rd Reich, more like how you do business with anybody, lately, while weeping bitterly at the bloodstained money.  you're as bad as the israelis in that regard.

Free Gaza is a political organization. Nobody can substantiate the claim that this assault on Israel's sovereignty was a humanitarian effort. Many have substantiated the claim that these boating enthusiasts were sent with clear political motivations by groups known to fund terrorism.

Crying about Truman and American dominance wasn't the topic of this thread. But it's obviously on a lot of minds. Why are so many ignoring the topic of this thread, posting only BS about it when they do? If you cannot address the facts, maybe you have nothing to contribute. It's really awkward seeing posts that have nothing to do with the topic of the thread but are rants against Israel's existence, Truman (okay, most of them are too ignorant to know the history of Israel's creation), and America. Why post those rants here, on a thread regarding a specific event? Can't you articulate your hatred of Israel in a thread of your own? We'd love to see your enlightened, educated, and humanitarian thoughts on how you would like to see Israel eliminated from the globe. Surely you can post your position clearly outside of a thread in which your opinion of Israel's existence is not relevant.

How about this then: I have both jewish and islamic friends, islamic family members, I did voluntary work as an animator for refugee children, I did voluntary work as a homework helper for Roma children, I lived in a house for rehabilitating homeless people for a while and the list goes on. Shooting before boarding is standard practice. It's called covering fire. Alternatively, it could be simple warning shots.

That can be said about all footage we've seen about the incident so far. It's quite easy to manipulate moving footage nowadays..

WTF?  If a source is of unknown origin and of unknown veracity then you say it's of unknown origin and unknown veracity, if you feel compelled to use it.  You don't tilt one way or the other.  And if it gets nailed on origin  you should probably withdraw it.   A perfectly accurate depiction of the assassination of Abe Lincoln, purportedly written by Lincoln in his own blood, is worthless if it's shown to be in Adolf Hilter's handwriting-- because you have no control over how far wrong it really is and no way to really tell.  Hitler wasn't there, so what's HIS source?  and you already got suckered once by taking it seriously enough to analyze,  so don't invite further comment on your naievete.
