I work as a receiving clerk, sales rep inside a lumber store.  I'm part of the housing market. 

No I have not been to college, though I am a high school graduate, though you don't have to go to college to be, "educated."  And yes, I make less than 22k a year.  After 10 years in the industry.

When the housing bubble burst, we layed off workers, there were stoppages on all wage increases, and we did not receive any bonus for end of year.

So all that garbage you read during the housing crisis, take it at word of truth.  Because it's all true.
