first of all, how do you know they werent born gay?
2nd, you said being gay is not how we are designed to function. saying we are designed to function, means, we were designed by an intelligent being. beleif in an intelligent being usually goes hand in hand with beleiving the intelligent being is all powerful and all knowing, meaning, he created everything knowing what each creation would do and everything that has happened was meant to happen, including homosexuality. so if humans were designed to function, gays were designed to be gay.
