The question of drafting merely confines the question to "are there any circumstances whatsoever in which it would be acceptable?" (presumably morally, philosphically) Such circumstances might be the genocide of your people if they are not protected, for instance.

If that's hard to understand, it's not my problem. tongue

I was referring to obvious logical fallacies committed by you. You can't seriously be asking me to explain to you form vs coincidence. Or why, when we're both talking about the same definition of the word, the fact that said word has other definitions is completely irrelevant.

That's textbook trolling, playing dumb to irritate and evoke a response for entertainment purposes.

You just called the debate. Ie, it's over. The Yell just responded. Are you high?

Edit: I'll take that as a "Yes."

The solution is obviously to lie about your emissions to cut costs, undersell your international competition, and avoid sanctions.

You make this too easy. My country would absolutely OWN yours!

Joking aside, that is what happens on the world stage. Short-sighted measures like these only hurt people while failing to have any impact on the world.

Edit: I think I just won their debate. I expect an email regarding where my prize will be mailed. I have direct-deposit, if you wanna just do that.

Edit: Whoops, forgot this debate was actually over sad

You don't have to spam just because you're a coward who won't address the questions as he sees them. tongue You can qualify your responses as you feel necessary. I did, shit-talking my country[men] in the process.

The protection of one's values does not necessarily require armed conflict. But neither does it necessarily not require armed conflict.

The question is broad: It doesn't confine you to certain conditions/values and demand you pick. Essentially it's asking what values/conditions, if anything/ever, justifies/doesn't justify it.

This, obviously, does not involve your medical condition in any way. tongue

Your inability to differentiate between form and coincidence is not my problem. Come back when you're on my level.

Furthermore, "marriage," as sought by homosexual couples, is the one defined as men and women are married, not as words and music are married. Come back when you're on my level.

I believe gays should have visitation rights and probably every other right under the law as straights. While children are primarily socialized in the home and men and women are different, making heterosexual couples ideal for raising children, institutionalized care has to suck and I'm open to the adoption discussion too.

To each his own, whatever makes you happy, I really couldn't care less. I'm pretty open to things as stated directly above. But two fallacious arguments against my objection to calling a homosexual union "marriage" are only making my case for me. You can do better. Don't do it for me; do it for yourself.

Dear Firewing,

China has 50 bazillion more people than the USA. China doesn't release its numbers, ie you don't know what "works" in China and is cost-effective. And remember that slavery and digging holes and filling them back in are also industries. That you can call anything an industry does not make it a worthwhile endeavor.

In closing, please consider thinking before you make completely asinine, ridiculous, and embarrassing statements. Thanks.

Dear Dirty Iluvatar,

The misdeeds of the past do not justify the misdeeds of now. In fact, recognizing that similar deeds in the past were, in fact, misdeeds condemns current actions. Furthermore, what you're whining about has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. What are you, like 5 years old? Seriously, what the [blam]? Are you on drugs? I'm worried about you.

You don't seem to understand that the president is not an all-powerful tyrant in the USA. While your ignorant musings of what policies enacted by which party has what effect are amusing, they're really, really stupid. You sound like a stupid ass. Did Bush attack the WTC because it happened when he was president? Did Obama cause an earthquake in Japan because he was president? Please advise.

Dear HotDogBun,

Please take the 2.4B figure of Obama debt away from me. Its origin in your anus has resulted in an unpleasant odor. Thank you.

Dear tommie,

What's outrageous about tax cuts?

The ones you're ignorantly referring to as if they're responsible for anything but a tiny fraction of our deficit (apparently you didn't know that) are... well, only responsible for a tiny fraction of our deficit. Presumably you meant they were outrageous because they resulted in a very irresponsible deficit. Since you now know that they didn't result in any such deficit (insignificant %), are they still outrageous?

And you go on to explain how ignorant you are of taxation in the USA. Why not ask for information, rather than spam a bunch of garbage?

Not taking the time to explain why capital gains are taxed at a different rate than income (which benefits absolutely everyone), I will point out that you can, in fact, blame Republicans and Democrats. That they're both at fault isn't a reason to blame neither; it's a reason to blame both. And all you ignorant douchebags that keep voting for them. smile

Dear RisingDown,

Please keep embarrassing yourself. You presume that the inherent slavery of communism is peachy. That's retarded. You presume that the increased promises of communism don't contradict with the reduction of incentives to produce of communism. That's retarded.

That you don't understand basic economics is not a reason to troll a forum. If you had any interest in educating yourself instead of posting awkwardly in denial of basic facts of reality you'd pursue it.

Dear tommie, again,

What has Obama done that sounds right?

Reached into the healthcare industry and said I CAN MAKE BETTER DECISIONS THAN YOU, MR. KEMP! That's retarded.

Bought into the auto industry, because that's what the government of the USA should be doing? That's retarded.

Reached into the banking and financial services industry and said I CAN MAKE BETTER DECISIONS THAN YOU, MR. KEMP! That's retarded.

Shut down any prospects of obtaining this age's affordable energy anywhere in our nation and its waters that he could, raising our energy prices and making us less competitive with the world? (that means less jobs, lower standard of living) That's retarded.

As an outsider, please realize that you're an outsider. You have no clue why anyone voted for anything. That's okay. But when you pretend you know why anyone voted for anything, you look really silly.

Dear Einstein,

Try to mess with my stop-loss orders and I'll invest in a hit squad and TAKE YOU OUT!

Seriously, though, WHAT? You're proposing more government involvement in the market to protect people from... themselves? Do you seriously propose to have a better understanding of people involved in the market than they do? Do you seriously propose to have a better understanding of what's good for them than they do?

Nobody forces anyone to invest in anything. If I want to day trade and short a billion shares of a stupid company doomed to fail, that's my business. If some idiot wants to bet big on something stupid, that's theirs.

My point is that trying to protect idiots from themselves with some arbitrary trading rules that sound good to people who have no idea how investing works will only hurt more people than it will help idiots.

I don't know why you guys are so interested in the amount of debt Bush or Obama accumulated--thus far, in the case of Obama. Bush was an idiot and an asshole. Obama is an idiot and an asshole. Neither one validates the other's idiocy. Bush has, to date, spent more (2 full terms). Obama has, to date, had a higher rate of spending (partial term, higher rate/year). Both suck.

"A question of "would you" can be answered with "I couldn't anyway"."

This is false. Fail.

To answer Xeno's question--which is a general and philosophical one obviously above some people's heads--I believe that freedom and justice are worth fighting for, killing for, and dying for. I would rather die in rebellion than be a slave to a tyrant without the consent of the governed. This doesn't necessarily answer your question specifically as to what I think/how I feel about killing for my country in particular, because I really couldn't say. Sad thought, that.

The church should never have gotten in bed with government on Obamacare.

They saw the potential of an increase from a huge source of money and puckered up, like any modern corrupt bureaucracy.

The problem with wanting a babysitter is part of their job is taking away your freedom. This is great if you're 8 years old. This is not so great if you're an adult and your babysitter is massively stupid, inept, and a thief.

Dear Mr. Wornstrum,

"Would?" and "Could?" are different questions. Pwnt! By saying "they wouldn't" or "I couldn't" you have not answered the question of would you. Don't make me feed you to my panda. Seriously. They don't eat people. It'd be a lot of work.

Anyone not willing to kill is a pansy who doesn't deserve any freedom. The fact is, if nobody was willing to defend themselves and their peoples, we'd all be slaves.

The problem is massive numbers of ignorant trash in democratic republics electing morally deplorable scum into office who subsequently get better men than them killed without good -- or even bad -- reason. Our current problem is that most of you air-headed babies don't deserve protection. =O Protection to what, elect more powerful slavemasters who get our soldiers killed for things that aren't our business?

More [happy] retarded nonsense from the president.

This is not Europe. Our population isn't concentrated enough for this idea to work in a million years. Well, maybe in a million years, depending on population growth. But not now. Or in 10 years. Or 20. You get the idea.

This is a really stupid idea made to make idiots who will never use it or see it feel better about themselves, because their vote supported innovation and preserved the environment! Nevermind that government can't innovate, nobody would use it and so it wouldn't help the environment, and that all that wasted money and productivity could have gone toward something actually worthy. Just not spending it, because we don't have it, would be more virtuous and kind to America and the future generations he's going to saddle with paying for his bribes and gimmicks.

LOL HotDogBun. Geeze I get on the forum once in 5 years, drunk, and.... Hell yeah I'll VP the shit out of this nation. Hell I could do 50x better than Biden even if I never sobered up for the 8 years.

I'm not a Romney fan by a long shot. I was just voicing my humble opinion that Gingrich is a complete piece of trash, and a stupid, immature, unprofessional one at that. Gingrich's downright retarded attack on Romney for being successful in the free market put him below Romney (hard as that is to achieve) in my book. It's the sort of stupid lie Obama would speak, hoping his audience is too stupid to understand their intelligence is being insulted. Granted, Romney if full of shit himself, so I still despise them both.

In all honesty, I'll probably vote for the Libertarian candidate (presuming Romney vs Obama, but just the same if it's Gingrich) and hope the republican wins.

I refused to listen to it, because I hate being lied to and talked to like I'm a complete moron who can't tell when he's being fed shit and told it tastes great. But a friend did play a bit of it over voice chat.

It was ignorant and full of outright lies, as expected. He's smart enough to know that "alternative energy" isn't going to be cheaper than oil for decades, at the soonest. He's smart enough to know that, based upon this fact, nobody is going to create wealth through "alternative energy" for the entirety of that time. He's smart enough to know that he's pissing away hundreds of billions of dollars while people struggle to make ends meet. He's smart enough to know that the free market innovates and improves ideas better than government bureaucrats paying off their cronies.

But he wants more government power across the board, in every imaginable aspect of life. So he says things which are absolutely false, beyond any shadow of a doubt, so that the willful ignorant and plain retarded can say ooo that sounds responsible and positive!

Because he knows enough of you are stupid enough to believe it.

The saddest thing about what's coming is that most of us deserve it. We voted it in time after time.

Newt's garbage. Between ignorant attacks on Bain capital, doing an ad with Pelosi, his past descriptions of himself as a Roosevelt Republican, his immense personal faults, and his stupid, childish, embarrassing attacks on the media when they ask legitimate questions... Maybe he'd be better than Obama. But not by a whole lot.

Wornstrum proposes that we can fix racism through racism. Kinda awkward.

He also presumes that only blacks have ever been oppressed in Amerika. If he's not claiming this, he's ridiculously ignorant of all of the other oppressed minorities which have more success than blacks today by an order of magnitude.

God forbid you attribute much of people's success or failures to their own culture and values. Your problem is you have to completely ignore facts to maintain your awkward position. You ignore the successes of native American tribes not receiving government handouts vs the failure of tribes on the government dole. You ignore the education and success rates of Asians and other formerly-oppressed minorities in America as compared to that of blacks (for example) of the same income level. You ignore astronomical illegitimacy rates and the links this has to crime and success in life.

Racists didn't spike the illegitimacy rate among blacks to 70%. Racists aren't holding back blacks while Asian and Middle Eastern immigrants work their asses off and achieve great success and education rates eclipsing that of blacks.

You're pretending that institutionalized racism can solve problems you won't even address, let alone understand. That's what you're supporting: treating people differently based upon the color of their skin. It's called "racism" and you're arguing for it here. It's offensive.
