When i joined in 2001 i attacked the #1 player thinking i could clear him from a system. I totally failed He cleared me from the system and stopped. Sent me a msg saying not to attack someone unless you know you can clear them.

If someone did that now the #1 person and his family wouldn't stop attacking until you were out of their NW range or you delete.

Thats how the game has changed and there's no wonder why it's dwindling to nothing

Thats what happens Artic when no one trusts you. The planet was only 5 ticks from us.

It's not to gain and it's not entirely personal. It's defensive based on how Artic acts with other families.

I'd like to also point out that all the countries they were fighting was brought on by Germany's attacks against those countries. So it's their fault they were in over their heads

Germany's firepower was superior to what other countries were using in the opening of the war. they stopped R&D on aircrafts and tanks mid war because they didn't think they needed anything better. They committed too many men and resources to trying to take a couple of cities in russia instead of sitting tight with them as neutral.

By the end of the War USA was pumping out superior fighter planes and tanks that the German's couldn't match because they were trying to make "tornado guns" and other "experimental" weapons instead of just improving their current tech

Germany collapsed in on itself from over expenditure on infra (Germania) and later on worthless weapons that never worked. They adopted a stance of "no retreat" which cost them tons of lives and equipment (Especially down in Africa)  instead of retreat to regroup and shorten supply lines.

round 3 tri was fall of 2001 there was a big crash after the round though

I did a speed start (explo fast with cf banker(s)) and we ended 4th in NW and 2nd in size   But we had 15 people participating who worked together great

That fast start eventually evolved to my current start plan which is about as opposite to it as you can
