Read my post on page 1. No one is being descriminated against. If there was a law that said "People who are attracted to the same sex are not allowed to marry people of the opposite sex" Then I would agree with you.
If being unable to marry who you want to have sex with is discrimination, then what about these people?
NAMBLA, (Yes they're an actual group. They emerged and allied with LGBT groups. Those LGBT groups later renounced ties with them when NAMBLA became politically unfashionable. Really their attraction is no different then homosexuality. They're after same sex relationships, with children)
And Zoophiles. Love your pet? Love to have sex with it? Can't marry it? Unhappy about not being able to marry it? DISCRIMINATION!

I doubt it will go much lower. Price here is $1.79 a gallon. It was $1.15 when people first started complaining oh so many years ago. Maybe it will go to $1.50 at the pump.

And no Americans don't feel loyalty to their respective states. I'm not a Californian, I'm an American. There is a nationalistic spirit in America, Not a Territorial Spirit. Our States aren't even viewed as separated entities. They are treated as testing grounds for laws from various ideologies. The ones that succeed on a small portion of the population move onto the Federal government.

I think you're forgetting the US wasn't a superpower until after WW2. We didn't influence crap until europe had been bombed out. Our influence came only as a direct result of the vast amounts of monetary aid we sent to europe to rebuild the destruction. That aid gave us a sort of power over the European countries, and the lack of mainland US destruction gave us an economic advantage over Europe.

I don't think that argument is valid. Stop considering homosexuals as a separate race of people. Imagine there are three people. Bob, Shane, and Johnathan. All of us can marry women. None of us can marry men. Which of us is being discriminated against?
I'm sure that bestiality isn't commited without love for that animal. It's not as fashionable as homosexuality, so it isn't talked about.
