The crowd was happy. "Let's put that miserable Lamiolo family out!" - someone yelled. "They'll all be dead soon enough!" - someone replied. A few within the crowd nervously agreed.

Last night's events led almost all inhabitants of Brondane to believe Amok was their jailkeeper, and through him came the accusations of the day: "You_Fool is mob!" - he said - "And Skyroshroud is the serial killer! Trust me, I will not let you down!". Having no reason to doubt the word of the supposed jailkeeper, the town all voted almost the same way. A few remained hesitant, but even they went and grabbed You_Fool by his arms and legs as the game moderator entered the square.

"No need to tell us the vote, we already know he's mob! Kill him!", it was said. You_Fool remained firm in his own defense though "What's this, can't you see they've caused a bandwaggon, it's their fault, I'm not mob!". No one seemed to listen though, as You_Fool was placed in front of the moderator. "Do you wish to confess?" he asked. "Bu...but..." You_Fool suddenly realised he was lost. All hope faded as as fell on his knees and pleaded "Please, I'll tell you their names, just let me live..."

As the crowd realised Fool was a mobster, they were immediately pushing and shoving him "Let us know! You have no chance, already three of you are gone!" Surrounded and being pushed around, Fool prepared to speak, but suddenly a loud bang was heard. A gun had been fired, but no one could identify the perpretator. As they couldn't tell who had stabbed You_Fool in the heart in the midst of the confusion.

Saddened by not knowing who the mafia was, but happy they had taken another mobster down, the crowd cheered and giggled as Skyroshroud was carried to jail, where he was to spend the night.

Meanwhile, the moderator updated the sign at the town's entryway. "Brandone, 22"

Assembled for the first time, the population of Brandone looked uneasy as the red stains were still being washed from the town's secular fountain. Even if the victim was a known mobster, no one felt secure with a madman on the lose. His hit must have been purely accidental, and there was no telling who would be next.

It was quite a noisy crowd though. Amok surviving the night caused a heated debate, and to most people he had to be one of two things: either the beloved jailkeeper or the dreaded serial killer. "I am the jailkeeper, I swear!" he kept repeating to anyone who cared to listen. Feeling as if he was playing Monopoly, Amok was given a one way pass to jail, where he would spend the night. "We'll see exactly what you are tonight!" yelled someone in the crowd.

With all the debate over Amok's possible role, the lynching itself was almost forgotten! But that was not to be. Silently counting the votes, the game moderator stepped over to the center of the square and called for attention: "Brandone! You are assembled here today to carry out your first lynching! I have the final results!" Soon the crowd went quiet, even fearful. Who would it be? Who would be the first lynchee? Would he be an innocent townsperson, like many times before?

"Step forth, Primo!" said the moderator. Looking weary and slightly annoyed, Primo moved forward. He didn't even blink as the moderator picked up his beretta and aimed it at his forehead. "Last words?" asked the mod "We will prevail" - replied Primo - "La Cosa Nostra will prevail. And you, will all die!". Startled by Primo's final words as well as the loud bang that followed, the crowd dispersed. Another mobster down, and it was only the first day. Things were looking up! Or were they?

As the town hall became deserted, the moderator approached the sign at the the town's main roadway. Cleaning up the chalk, he rewrote the numbers with a brief sigh. "Brandone, 25"
