Obama is definitely losing steam. Doesn't look like he will be gaining the votes he needs with McCain/Palin kicking his butt

lol Flint. Its no different from what they did to obama. He didn't get the same questions and such as McCain. Everything about him was negative. I mean, the media went and used words that a pastor of a church that obama doesn't even go to anymore said against him. But like SupAll said, she only needs to be in the light for a few months

That's exactly why I don't care for McCain =/

Actually, I didn't mind McCain at all until he started talking about his foreign policy views. I still wouldn't mind Obama and McCain coming together somehow because at the beginning, they were saying a lot of the same things. Just had different thoughts of where to go exactly. The only major issues that really separate the two is their opposing views of war and offshore drilling. But it doesn't matter. Politics is not about sharing. Not american politics anyhow. Palin is a nutcase. I don't trust her. She's about as bad as hillary.

and Nolio, my point is not that 1055 infra sucks, but that they probably wouldn't do so well in a smaller, conflict-prone sized gal.  because it takes more skills to build lots of infra while engaged in major, continuous fighting, which they have seemed to avoid pretty well so far.

Yes I understand your point and I'm saying you're absolutely wrong:p

if it were a smaller galaxy, 55 would've still been ahead because they had a superior infra early in the round. The only family that was able to keep up with them was 83. But 55 still would've dominated anybody else who tried to fight them because they had the resources to jump more fleet and fund ops. I'm not saying they are the best attacking family. Just that they had a great start and have been consistent every since. The fact that their are so many planets is the reason they haven't needed any major conflict.

Magni wrote:

i guess 1055 is just lucky Capricorn is a huge gal, otherwise they probably would've gotten raped by now.

edit: typo

That's not true, 1055 has been the best family so far economy wise. Since day 1 they've been ahead of everyone and has been active and defended well. Just because they weren't the favorites to win doesn't mean they aren't the best family wink

omg omg omg

I hate alcohol

Nothing wrong wtih trusting palin over obama.

Only thing I have against Palin is that the things she has been saying sound pretty..."off". Although she is the vice president candidate, she's been chosen by McCain. And that pretty much makes her a reflection on him if his judgement sought fit that she was suitable to lead the country in the event something should happen to him.

But anyhow, you have to look at the big picture and the long term agenda. Foreign policy is a huge factor in our economic growth and development. McCain's not exactly the diplomatic type as he is a tactical leader. Palin is hardly in any position to be a diplomatic leader. Obama is inexperienced but has a way with words and a personality that makes him popular to foreign nations.

But the American people are fickle. Nobody really focuses on what matters to them the most. We just like to see who's on tv the most.
