Selur Ku-It was a cf while NAP talks were going on. And it kindof was a NAP with some of their players. Others were being dicks and attacking us so we kept at them but the ones who wanted peace got it. We honestly had no need to cf them to portal closer. The portals were there already... And apparently, they attacked today to move us further from their cores . Im guessing PNAP doesnt explain that all attacks will stop forever on our side .

And as Ive said before, there is a difference between kamikaze and suicide. Kamikaze would mean that they didnt care if they won as long as they took us down with them. Thats jokes. Ive done that before, as a 10th ranked fam versus the first. We fought a horribly outmatched war but harassed them, raided their bankers etc until we ended 15th and they ended around 11th. Suicide on the other hand, is what 81 is doing. Theyre killing themselves, while not at all hurting us. Tell me how that makes sense.

I have one general notice to all off pinwheel. Here goes my rant...

"Why must fams think it is honorable/a good idea/shows fighting spirit to commit suicide?

Lets take for example fam 781. Early on, we fought them, took a few planets etcetra. This was just Wierdos versus their entire fam, other people werent attacking. We were winning, they were small, we tried talking cf. During the cf, 781 refused to stop attacking. Their leader, Hines said he couldnt control his fam but he still wanted cf. So we agreed and stopped attacking him/couple others and worked on the rest of the family.

During the cf, he attacks one of our bankers. Tells us we were too close etc. I told him that we meant him no harm anymore and he could have stayed peacefully all round, even if our attackers were 1 tick from him (we have better things to do than attack fams 1/5th our size). At this point, noone really wants to fight them as we were pushing more and more players out of range. They dont stop and op one of our bankers (destroy iron when he barely had any, but its the feeling that counts ). So we attack them once more. One of their top attackers deletes.

It goes so far that some want to declare war on them (we disnt land up doing it though). Hines asks then for a cf. Wierdos wanted to do it for Hines stepping down from leadership and 50 planets, and I ask him to lower it. So we offer a PNAP ([w00f]ing Permanent) for 40 planets, which isnt even 10% of their total. Hell, if all their players send explos 1 day, they could get these planets. We are told to wait 24 hours for a list. During this time, Hines attacks us again. And this time, unless there is an excellent reason, we will likely annahilate these guys.

Now I know this is a long story. But honestly, this isnt the first time I have seen this happen. Everyone round, some fams commit suicide on families MUCH larger than them. A lot of players encourage these families, 'Go show those big fams what you can do.', 'Die with Honor etc'. But honestly, I dont see why a fam needs to die when they can as easily make an agreement and live on under the protection of a fam much bigger than them (dont see a top 5 fam entering their systems with another top 5 fam actively defending them).

Especially considering a lot of bigger fams dont get any real pleasure from killing these small fams. For some players, its honor, for others, its the necessity to get a challenge. Like wow, 1 tick of our fam income is more than one rl day of your fams income. This will be a very interesting fight... Like honestly, quit while your ahead and you can still have a top 10 finish n00bs.

A fam full of vets going crazy on a much larger fam and making their lives miserable for kicks (Talics fam a few rounds ago ) is one thing. But an actual small fam going against a much bigger fam is utterly pointless."

All the 1-2 people fams were killed and moved so that more fams could be 3 players

A lot of the big "attackers" may be resoursers though

Im not saying its not good. 1400 captures in any galaxy at any time is excellent.

But:
Most Captures in One Round: 1,400+ BEAT IT!

So I gave instances where people did BEAT IT .
