Scientists believe that most dinosaurs became extinct about 65 million years ago.

A local music teacher at Wasilla told the Los Angeles Times that soon after Sarah Palin was elected the mayor of the Alaskan town, she told him that, "Dinosaurs and humans walked the Earth at the same time."

A startled Philip Munger, who teaches music at the University of Alaska in Anchorage, then confronted the newly elected mayor about prehistoric fossils and tracks dating back millions of years.

Palin responded by saying that "she had seen pictures of human footprints inside the tracks," Munger recalled.

The Obama campaign keeps claiming McCain has voted with President Bush 95 percent of the time. Is this true? Is this significant? 
A: Yes, it's true, according to Congressional Quarterly's assessment of McCain's voting record.
Sen. Barack Obama has attempted to use the Arizona senator's voting record against him in statements like this:

Barack Obama (June 3): It's not change when John McCain decided to stand with George Bush 95 percent of the time, as he did in the Senate last year.

The claim is true. According to Congressional Quarterly's Voting Studies, in 2007 McCain voted in line with the president's position 95 percent of the time

I'm not too fond of Barack's intentions to spend so freely but at least he'd be investing important things as opposed to putting 3 billion a week in a war for nothing.

Oh yeah, I forgot the debate was on several stations. You might be right about that then. And Obama voted against with the president only 42% of the time. And no, both he and McCain were against the bail out bill.

It's not useless, it pretty much shows who is actively watching and gives an idea of what to expect for the voting turnout. Polls aren't meant to really be taken as something....what's the word I'm looking for...concrete. But if the people who were watching say that Obama won, then he won as they were debating for the people who were watching. Not the people who weren't watching. Plenty of democrats and republicans have switched sides in this election so it's not really accurate to say there was a bias involved.

I was actually going to give McCain some thought till I researched and found that he did in fact vote 90% with Bush and 77% was the lowest in a year that he voted with Bush.

Yeah....like I really want to get another Bush in office:p
