As I said earlier this fam has the best eco by almost 1mil NW lead and along with allies in a solid 3rd only some kind of an act of God can keep them from winning the round unless they just get bored and go inactive at the end. Their banker vs attacker NW is perfect, their spread is perfect, their control of almost 250 systems with their allies is clean. They have a great attacking crew in Lee, lew lew, alena and Ws and that along with the eco power is really unstoppable. Now they do have a few weaknesses in the fact that their attackers have secured a lot of area and their bankers havent been able to keep up and take planets off the attackers which hurts morale but soon that shud be fixed. They own 3/4 of sec 1 and have secured a large area in sec 3 and from their its just secure and grow and then move out to conquor and claim planets. They pushed 09 and 04 out of the area they wanted in sec 3 and also pushed 17 out from same area thus leaving them about a fourth of sec 3 that will be theirs.

eventually they will face 23&17/04&09/02 and maybe a tick war with 14 if they decide they want to have a tick war.

2414 has great eco and an excellent crew of attackers. They control sec 2 much like 05 controls sec 1. they also have good spread in sec 4 if they decide to cancel on 17.  Not sure what deal they might or might not have with 10 but that could be a good test for them altho I expect 14 doesnt want to fight 10 and take a chance on falling further behind in eco. Thus i expect them to simply go after much smaller fams and if they think they can cancel on someone and make quick work of it then they will war them.

Their main weakness ofc is their allies in comparison to 05 allies. There just aint no way with the eco of 05/22 vs 14/96 that 14 could win. at best maybe a draw since people seem to get lazy and tired of tick wars.

Contenders FTW but prob end up 2nd to 3rd.

Started off real slow but they got their act together and man is it going strong eco wise. They are a solid 3rd in eco and they have skilled attackers and put that together with 05 they are the dominant alliance atm. they have great spread with their allies and really theirs nothing but up as far as planet count is concerned as they and 05 eventually start beating down other fams and gaining planets. what else can you say than if you dont think 22/05 is the alliance to beat then beat them

Not a great spread in comparison to top 3 fams but its decent, eco is a strong. TBH I have a hard time saying what this fam will do since i dont pay euf attention to who their allies are (tho it looks like maybe 13 from yama's) and what deal they have with 14 but i look for them to be killed by 14 later in the round. I wud say tho they would be a good choice for 14's 3rd allies and as such would dominate sec 2 and 4 very easy and 17 wud be meat for them

full of old vets just sitting back and having fun and having a solid round as usual for those in this fam. They control bout 1/3 of sec 2 and i guess if they have pnap with 14 they can set out the round and just cruise to a top 5 finish.

well what can i say, they have allies that have a great attacker in pitbull but he can only do so much with the eco he has to work with and 05 pushed them (09) away from any position to be able to help when war time comes. Thus it might be a 2 vs 1 and for that reason alone I say they will be run over sooner or later by 05/22 just a matter of timing. having said that they do have decent core but are real weak on attackers with a first round attacker. really only the leader can attack skillfully but thats ot enuf.

lol my friend death and company, very weak on eco due to war with 14 or they wud be a more forceful fam this round. i see them either being farm by 14 or if 14 leaves them alone then they could go after a few fams but in the end they will lose any gains to some one. weak attacking weak eco means weak finish BUT prob

and no i have never hit one, but thats because i have a rule i play by and thats if u cant get a PI you dont hit if u sent a large amount of ground now i dont mind hitting a laser trap if i only sent bombers and figs to test it but i have never hit a laser trap and lost my fleet due to my rule. I have had to just stay hovering or recal till i got my pi tho.

so in ur defense arch i dont consider u hit a laser trap if u didnt lose all or most of ur ground which is what the trap is for anyway.

very true but its not fun at all hitting laser traps and losing almost or all of your ground cause then u cant war for a few ticks and thats never fun.

Plus it might be taken into account the next time attacker ratings are done cause the GREAT attackers dont hit laser traps
