No, I'm planning on becoming a art restorer, wich is an important job X(

That, or a pub owner!

Oh, and apart from a few, all jobbers are useless TU. You will slave for years and when you get too old, they replace you with a younger slave. You're a nameless part of a machine.. So in the end, you're not more useel than a jobless person who does voluntary work or something...

I never really understood why people love Scarface that much.
Granted, it's a good movie, but it's not excellent..

"i deny that the use of any term with negative connotation is trolling; and i dont give a damn about your decision to warn me, when you dont have the power to do more then edit or delete my posts."

Fair enough, we'll see where it leeds to then smile

"i dont see any source for that report, and the terms they give are pretty limited; its also very broken english, im not entirely sure what they're claiming."

There are others. I read it on techzine.nl, wich is dutch so of little use for you tongue Do some research on your own if you don't believe me.

"why do you consider windows vista a beta? what do you think it lacks from being a logical progression and being the next full version of windows?"

It's nowhere near optimalised, it's using a lot more resources than 7 does, the uac contained several serious bugs at the start (like undoing certain preferences), and so on. These are things users shouldn't tolerate in a finished product. It had some nice improvements though. The new install was a welcome sight (although it leaves you almost no options), encryption, auc (when tweaked), the network stack performs better etc.

"the forum nazi term describes what they do and who they are; it isnt meant as a troll."

You can not deny that there's no negative connotation to the term, to describe it lightly. It is trolling, and my decision stays. If you have problems hop on irc sometime and discuss it with one of us (or a mod) there.

"thanks for clarifying what you meant. i think thats a huge if though. if they're willing to sell what you consider to be a beta for $200; i dont see them giving away the real thing."

they are going to do it
http://clixcyber.com/microsoft-provides-upgrade-to-windows-7-for-free.html.

"yeah, and you consider something ms is selling for $200 per retail copy as a beta? i think you're giving them alittle too much credit."

I consider the quality of Vista as "advanced beta", not the price. People who bought Vista without testing it, are dumb tongue $200 is defenatly way overprised. And au contraire, I consider what they did plain theft. But if there's a market that's willing to buy crap software for a whole load of money, why wouldn't you allow them? It brings in a motherload of money that can bes spent on other developping projects. I can understand it from their pov, but that doesn't mean I approve of it..

"upgrade to vista for free???  if vista was a test os, they wouldnt of charged like $200 for a retail copy of it."

Reread what I wrote avo. *I* consider it like that. And there was a demand for a new OS, wich microsoft exploited and got a whole load of money out of it. It's windows ME all over again. Windows ME was a terrible thing and never worked properly.. But, it did include a lot of new innovative features like restore points and such, wich were implemented beautifully in the OS they released only a bit more than a year later with Windows 2000. Do you see the analogy?

And if they allow you a free update to Windows 7, that $200 could be considered an extensive Windows 7 license wink

"im not trolling the fmods. in a forum where f-mod actions have closed many threads because of a very literal interpretation of rule #9; this seemed a fairly likely target. and just because i voice disapproval, doesnt make me a troll."

Calling us nazis over and over again, where it's not relevant is not criticism, it's trolling and that's that.

Yes, I mean it's can be used as a windows, to a certain extend. Limitations that would still trouble them will be minor bugs, proper ntfs support and some other small things..

Not at all man! Good progress is being made, but it needs (a lot) more developpers.. I think that it can be used in 3 years already (to a certain extend)..
