I hate to be the one to bring the bad news but!.. I've just received the most dramatic information:

JUSTINIAN IS GOING TO COMMIT SUICIDE!!!

I know what you all think. He's evil, he's bad, he has no emotion whatsoever. But listen to my plea:

He had a difficult childhood and a hard time growing up. While we were still young I remember he used to chat with me all night talking about how his dad used to beat him and lock him up for 20 hours without food or water in a dark place. He asked me: "why does my mother never gives me a hug?"... I didn't knew what to reply.

But now, after all this, would you really want to sacrifice this poor soul for something stupid as pirate day? NO! We won't let this happen!!! Lets all sign the petition against pirate day now! (in this same forum)

I'm here since ages, started very early with the game long before I even changed to little paul years back. Trough a combination of dirty tackticks and carefull planning I managed to avoid every possible tag point, tough danger was around every corner. I never replied first to a questions, altough I'm a very friendly guy. I never posted my best idees, and posted any strategy in anothers thread. Most things I post are political, hence completely useless.

In the good old days, I was a player. Everybody could see it right under my name and the girls they knew it. "Player"...I mean whats in a word. smile I felt comfortable with my title and was very proud I was recognized. But solar defender??? sad.

When I was a player:
Beautiful girl:"hi, who are you?"
*LP looks around and talks loud anough of any other possible Girls to hear*
LP: "High, I'm LP-the-player"
Beautiful Girl: "you want something to drink, LP?"
LP: "at 22:13 tomorow"

But now...
LP: "Hello I'm a solar defender"
Beautiful Girl: "you studied informatics didn't you?"
Lp:"yeah but..."
BG:"I was leaving anyway, bye"

Sorry mods, I'm all for good changes or even try-outs. Bugs can happen, some idees turn out to be bad but you never know untill you try.

This being said, pirate day has been tested and I can't say it was funny for long. Maybe exlude Pirate day from politics. Or do it one time a month for a joke but not every day out of seven.

"Actually the solution is state funded media"
Its often proposed in this forum, and every time again with no arguments and little debate. But coming from you it might be worth it to give it a shot.

"who's funding doesn't depend on the number of viewers it gets"
True there. Its indeed a disadvantage of the commercial ones.

" + who's program isn't influenced by the state."
that would be the ideal world. But there are so many ways the state influences the media, also indirectly. If not, even then there are many ways "parties", "companies" or "persons" can influence it.

"My country has one state run news program which is cleaner than the other two private ones."
So witch country are you from again? (I know I asked it before but I have a bad memory.)

...Is biased. They are influenced by, or in favor of some people/political factions etc. Nobody really denies it. Though often people propose their preferred media channel as being "the most clean".

But I have no solution to this. State based media as often proposed, is not clean either so no real solution to this problem I.M.O. Is there some enlightened mind present on this forum who does have a solution?

I don't know if "anyone else" includes animals Duck...but NOBODY wants to have dinner with a decimus.

Anyway, to the subject of this thread, I fit in nowhere. I have pov's found within different parties or mostly no party at all. My views are often regarded as "extreme" so I can't say I'm a moderate either.

I can give a thousand examples but I'll keep it short, as I said before I'm extreme LP and lets stick to that.
