its called a dark comedy; have you ever seen dr strangelove? its a famous COMEDY and the plot is this general goes crazy and causes a nuclear war where all of humanity is wiped out, pretty dark, right? but guess what; its indisputably a comedy!
also, if you have the dvd of fightclub, theres comentary with the actors and the director and the author of the book, and they refer to the movie as a comedy.

at this point in my life its not appropriate. but please tell me, when you didnt get straight A's in highschool, did your parents tell you thats ok, thats the best you can do, you're only so smart? and as i recall, his marks arent public, so you're merely speculating. also as for getting into harvard and getting a scholarship, he's black, he has an advantage over me 
because it is politically unpopular to raise taxes, the dem's have come up with a new way to fund their socialist agendas; increase the national debt, which will increase inflation and tax everyone a flat percent.

answer to #1 they are subject to the same laws of supply and demand
#2 money is property, money isnt different then a house, land or a computer. force is not property. private regulation of property creates the highly desirable effect of efficiency, efficiency in commerce leads to better quality of life. private regulation of force threatens that efficiency.
#3 because with force and violence, we arent looking for efficiency.
#4 they arent bad at making them effiecient, they're bad because you dont want the most efficient. efficiency is a desirable attribute in commerce, not in force or violence. example, one factory that could provide all property anyone could want, would improve quality of life. one bomb that could destroy all of humanity would not. those would be the extreme efficiencies for commerce and violence. which one improves the world and which one doesnt?

Capitalism, the system of VOLUNTARY exchange isnt unregulated in economic or social order. Economically companies need freedom protected just like people do in social order. if Economically, capitalism didnt need protection; Capitalism wouldnt work because Companies would build millitaries to enslave other companies/people and create socialism with each company being the state. i dont think theres a contradiction with wanting a capitalistic economy and social order, with limited government for courts, police, and national defense.

if more research is done and it points at A, its not going to stand out from prior proof of A and its not going to discredit B to the masses anymore then the prior proof of A does. the silent majority will believe which one they want to believe.

im more annoyed with it being the most expensive inauguration ever, during this economic climate.
and i see, when people complain about Bush's decisions its legitimate, when people complain about Obama's decisions, its whining. seriously, stop whining about things you claim are whining. there is no reason to give him 100 free days; he could do alot of damage in 100 free days.

i think you over-estimate the public schooling system. i think if anything, the number of high school students who read it would decrease if it became required reading 
i read it as part of my reading binge junior year of highschool, it was so-so.
Acolyte's assessment seems reasonable enough to me, but i have very little education in economics, only took a semester of it in college, so i cant really recommend anything.
just looked, Acolyte was good enought o provide books that are all available to read online for free; very convenient.
