germany is fairly unstable though... one match is brilliant, the next is piss poor.

i didnt see anything the netherlands did that could deserve a red card.

and i'm not convinced germany will beat spain.
argentina's defence was pretty horrible all through the tournament.

You cant argue the dutch weren't level headed because they got a few yellow cards.

The cards holland got were for professional fools, the red card brazil got was for misconduct. And Kaka should have had a direct red card as well for trying to hit Sneijder.

I have always wondered about byrd..i mean, why was he a democrat...and why did the democrats allow him in the party.

Personally I think the democrats lost more votes by having him in the party than they gained by it.

the refereeing is bad because they don't choose the best refs, they choose refs from small countries

new zealand has 2, guatemala has 2... i mean, they don't even have professional leagues, how can their refs be any good.

Who knows, after months of being in the jungle with his army buddies, maybe he wouldn't mind some "sexual contact" with a fish!

depends on the situation

for instance, if time isn't running, you can't make fouls, so no.

further more it depends on if it's on purpose or not

i didnt say they were unlucky, did i?

also, i'd like to pay my respect to new zealand, they don't have a professional league, but they remained undefeated. Well done!

and finally... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA @ italy.

hmmm, so Primo said the US would need lots of luck to get the top slot over England in their group...... Whats the consensus? was the US very lucky? i think that overall so far the US was much unluckier then they were lucky...

US was very lucky in the sense that England eliminated themselves for first place. They have a really good chance of getting to the quarter final too now though, as Ghana is not very good either.

USA got a bit lucky there

and the refereeing is so incredibly horrible this world cup sad

is why i prefer the european championship over the world cup

Meh, once again something gets blown out of proportion by the IC community.

My 2 cents (i just learnt of the situation):

Absoultely, it was wrong of the mods to offer this kind of service, it's not in the game policy, and is impossible to enforce. In NAPs there are so many gray areas, not to mention that it's impossible for mods to find all the facts.
However, I fully 100% believe that this was done with best intentions at heart, in the hope it would once again restore honour in the galaxy.

Once again I would like to remind people that even mods are just human beings, we make mistakes, deal with it. If you can't, play a game you host yourself, with no other players than yourself. I suggest masturbation.

As for the suggestion that mods should not be playing the game. Bullshit, I haven't been playing the game in a long time now, and I find myself forgetting everything about it. I don't remember the rules  and game mechanics clearly at all. Besides, by having the mods not play, they lose all contact to the community. They will become pretty much like Stefan. And I don't think that'd be a good development.
