I heard this thread hasn't had a single post that has anything to do with uni news (aside from content which is not allowed anyway), and thus is about 99% justified in being closed as spam.

Joe Biden's speech was suddenly interrupted as an unnamed World War 2 veteran stepped on stage, grabbed his microphone, and said "Yo, I'm really happy for you and I'm gonna let you finish, but I just wanted to say that the Battle of Normandy was the best military campaign of all time.  Of all time!"

Yay!  I use enough soda bottles in a week to guarantee US energy independence!

Romney.

Very simple argument: I would prefer that either Gingrich, Santorum, or Romney win the election.  Out of those three, the candidate which consistently has the highest scientific poll numbers when pitted against Obama is... Romney.  Gallup, RealClearPolitics... doesn't matter, Romney's the most competitive.

Maybe it's just me... but if my party's going to spend half a billion dollars over the course of a year during an election... I'd prefer they win.
