DELETE !

I can't do that Arganon. I feel like someone should be in the fam that isn't a complete idiot, so that if someone actually wants advice they can find it. If they ask you a question, you give them an Arganon answer. If they ask me, I can tell them to go ask Parrot. I would be doing them a disservice by leaving them entirely in your care.

You can put a ring on the finger, but that finger is still connected to a man.  Also I never said I need the flip book, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun to have around.

That's too bad. She sent me a sequence of photos that I was able to turn into a flip book. Get my own private strip show whenever I flip through it.

What are your preferences? I myself prefer a good handful, maybe a little extra.  Anything above that seems just a little bit over the top, almost nasty.  I mean I look to the future and just see those bad boys sagging down to the floor and it turns me off a bit.

stepped off attacks means he raided a resourcer and small banker, and thought that we would just let it slide tongue

2) this round has proven it's very stressfull and hard to control the hill.. how about Allies and make maybe 2 more koth systems.. alliances will win if they control hill.

3) HS's need to be further away

1) No naps, whatsoever. Unless there is a way to make official naps that don't apply to hill systems.  Even in this case limit naps to only 1, maybe 2 otherwise the whole galaxy would nap and just infra whore until they push for the hill and receive 0 possibility of consequences.

2) 2 people king of the hill? no

3) People who say this don't realize that there is a wrap around function on the map, or realize it and choose to ignore it because they're dumb.  With the map the way it is, which is plenty large enough for the number of families involved (particularly when the goal is 6 certain systems, not most planets or nw like a normal round), you just put fams right on top of each other.  Currently, each family had 2 families 4-5 standard ticks away. Move families farther away, and all of a sudden each family has 5 families close to them.  It's like in mine sweeper when you uncover a 5 you sit and think......o shit i'm boned

It is better, if we were talking about directly implementing it into a game already going on.

Having the morale bonuses as i describe them would bring about new strategy to the game.  A hill rush like 16 made would actually be worth something (other than a failed round) because once they are in they have a boost over others.

Also, jOOr assumes that when you are in the hill you will only have to defend your hill planets.  Cutting morale loss in the hill would do nothing for a family that has a presence in the hill strong enough that they all of a sudden find 6 families raiding bankers outside of the hill.

Actually Hoad, if you go to the ic homepage, and look to the right, directly above the "Last Login" line, you will see that we are infact in ic3

Why thank you ps tongue

I feel like flooding the hill with morale planets could lead to too much of an advantage.  If everyone in the family gains a certain amount of morale from controlling a hill system, it still forces that family to work together as a unit to effectively hold off other potential aggressors.  If there are just a large amount of morale planets in the hill, that allows say, 1 or 2 attackers to spam mass amounts of morale each tick and be able to do much more damage.

I'd rather see successful control of the hill happen because a group of 10 people is able to work together as a unit, rather than see a family win because they have 1 massive attacker who was able to make 3x the attacks of anyone else in the galaxy.

It gives more incentive to get into the hill early, making it harder for one family to take a whole system.  Again, same as with risk, when you bust your ass to take control of a certain amount of territory, yea you should be rewarded.  The reward goes both ways, while you will have more morale for retakes/attacks, people will focus on you harder to take away this bonus.

Going off your basis Joor, we should do away with morale planets entirely.  I've seen large families, with large attackers, have 10+ morales, because they fought for them and are able to defend them.

As it is, once a family gets a footing in the hill, the entire galaxy starts attacking them.  We've seen it multiple times now, with 21, and before them 19, and before them 18, and before them 16.  Having some type of a reward for gaining control of hill systems makes sense.

You could even go further, to help keep the round from lasting so long that people lose interest, and increase the morale that is given over time.  Say for the first 4-6 weeks of a round you get +1, after that it adds +1 every week or 2.
